Now that Himari and Yori are girlfriends, Aki seems to face another challenge. It has to do with Shiho and what caused cold blood between Aki and Shiho, which caused Shiho to leave.
Last time, you might wonder why Kaori shut the door on Shiho. They don’t get along at all. Yori, of course, wonders what happened as they used to be great friends. Of course, Aki wants Yori to drop the subject and take them out for dinner. Yori is sorry, I have plans with my girlfriend, Himari.
The funny thing is that when Yori met Himari, who was waiting, she brought the whole team. It is surprising that while Aki lost against Himari, she seems to have handled it well, and she even congratulated her on getting into a relationship with Yori.
With that, she hopes she takes care of Yori, although Aki said she will always be her bestie. In a way, she handled the loss quite well as she walked with Yori holding her arm. That is until Yori asks Himari to hold hands while apologizing for her hands being sweaty, although Himari doesn’t mind. However, Yori notices how slender and petite Himari’s hands are. Of course, Himari reveals that she has feelings of jealousy, but she thinks Yori is dense. As expected, Miki the next day congratulates Himari as she saw her and Yori holding hands.
With Himari thanking Momoka, she already knows that Himari has a girlfriend. It didn’t take too long for notice, given the look on Himari’s face. Momoka reveals she was at the concert as well and is glad that things worked out between Yori and Himari. That is until Himari asks if she has feelings for someone until she asks about having the cooking club participate in the cultural festival.
I have to change the subject until Shiho and Hajime show up. We find out that Momoka is in a band with them, too. Hajime and Shiho finally introduce themselves to Himari. As expected, Himari is surprised as Momoka didn’t mention she was in the band.
Of course, they came as Hajime and Shiho had to submit an essay to introduce themselves. I feel that Momoka has feelings for Hajime. That is until Momoka stops Shiho from leaving as she has a favor for her to do as a cooking club member.
She is there as a stand-in, unwilling to help until Himari begs her. It worked so well, although Shiho says the band is her priority. Himari mentions that her girlfriend is part of the band, the same one that Shiho left. Shiho is surprised that the first years moved fast. After making the chocolate cake, Himari praises Shiho’s humming. Shiho boasts about herself while suggesting that Himari watch the audition as it might change her favorites. Still, Shiho is in a band to prove herself.
Himari spends time with Yori as she discovers her band is auditioning. However, Himari feels a bit down when other people look at Yori. Yori gets flustered as she assures Himari that she is all hers and has nothing to worry about.
With Yori’s band finishing the practice of their song, Aki thinks they nailed it, although Yori seems pessimistic. Funny how Aki would have believed that Yori would slack off since she has a girlfriend now. However, we learn what caused Aki to have cold blood towards Shiho. That is when Aki stayed at Yori’s house. Aki is reluctant at first, but she eventually tells her. Shiho seems to have joined and left many bands.
Eventually, she joins Aki’s band after Aki invites her. It seems to work fine. Shiho is having a lot of fun in the band and likes playing with her. Aki thought the fun times would stay forever until Shiho suddenly wanted to quit since she felt Aki didn’t care about how the music sounded.
As expected, Aki had issues with Shiho’s singing, so she quit. That is until Shiho says she wants to stop for ages before Aki slaps her and wants Shiho to leave. Kaori had to hold Aki back, who was upset at her. Still, Aki regrets what happened that led to this. Still, Yori feels better about the situation now as she wants to leave on her own terms. That is while Yori enjoys playing in Aki’s band.
On the day of the audition, Aki’s band performance went well. Of course, they played the ending theme, but Yori did the vocals. Of course, while performing in a different genre, Shiho’s band seemed to be on another level. Of course, after all of it ended, Shiho asked Aki what she thought about her song. While Aki eventually says it’s good, Shiho wasn’t asking that. Shiho wants to know if Shiho is better than Aki’s crush on Yori, who she moved on to. Yep, trying to cause tension, but I wonder how this will play out or if Aki’s band will even make the cut. We’ll see next time.

Whisper Me a Love Song Episode 7: The Violet Fiend – The Yuri Empire
I don’t dislike Shiho because I could tell she’s hiding her true feelings behind a wall of bitchiness. We’ll have to wait and see how the wall is eventually broken down. I hope Aki will be okay by the end.
In brighter news I’m so happy we’re still blessed with HimaYori’s love.
Yes, it’s obvious that something is up that causes her to act this way, but as with most tsunderes, not too surprising. We’ll see of she ever defrosts.
That said, the YoriHima moments are always nice.
