After Shizuru and her friends deal with a horde of zombies, they go through a few more stops until they arrive at an alternate world of NeriAli at Oizumi-gakuen.
As the girls pressed on, they felt weird in the next two stops. When the girls passed the next station, they had the sudden urge to start itching intensely. Thankfully, Shizuru sped up the train to end it. The next stop after that brings unpleasant memories to rather dark memories. Of course, that moment is still fresh in Shizuru’s mind, and upsetting Yoka comes to mind.
They are clear after passing those two stops as they head to the 21st spot. While Remi seems enthusiastic about Alice in Norima Land, Shizuru reads the lure behind it. We know what it is about as we see a flashback with Yoka and Shizuru. They watched the show together as we saw the boss, a humanoid dog named Chaos. Alice uses Hasami shogi to take Chaos and his henchmen down. When Yoka realizes she spoiled it, Shizuru doesn’t seem to mind.
After arriving at Oizumi-Gakuen, it’s basically the bad ending timeline. Alice and her friends, Iron Monty, Su-chan, and Opie, are dead as Chaos rules the city. He makes the Darkizumites into seats, street lamps, wheels, and other things.
Of course, Reimi doesn’t like this alternate reality of Alice in Norima Land at all. The city is filled with Walkers as eventually Chaos’s minions, Man-Cow, Rugger Man, Calico Cat, Jonidan, Guilt Incarnate, and Quarter Evening Cicada, explain how they defeated Alice and her friends. Of course, Remi does not like the current situation with what happened to Alice and their intention of heading to Ikebukuro. As expected, Chaos ordered them to kill Shizuru and her friends.
Thankfully, Shizuru and her friends find the hideout where some Darkizumites are hiding to hopefully stage a comeback against Chaos. We find out that Su-chan is hiding in the freezer as they devise a plan to get the shards of her fallen friends and try to revive them with the liquid. Sadly, Remi couldn’t get Su-chan’s autograph on her undershirt.
It’s funny how the Walkers are easily deceived, and Bitter Melon is a helpful tool to get that scythe to slice the statues to get the shards. Of course, the plan doesn’t work as the shards disintegrate instead of reviving the party. Yep, 7G is unpredictable. Even Su-chan eventually faces the same fate.
Now that the plan to revive Alice’s party is doomed, Darkizumites think they are goners until they whip out the costumes. Nadeshiko gets to be Alice. Reimi must be disappointed, but at least she gets to be Su-chan. At the same time, Akira is Iron Monty, and Shizuru is Opie. Sure, they had to figure out how to beat Chaos’s henchmen. Still, eventually, Akira realizes they are bound by the rules of Shouji. In other words, they have to beat them at their game, which is the easy part.
Basically, the girls defeated all of Chao’s henchmen and the girls corner Chaos. However, he gets onto a small UFO before they can beat him. He mentions Yoka as the “Witch Queen of Ikebukuro.” Sure, we know that Yoka is safe, but is she really herself under the influence of 7G? Also, the girls changed back into their regular clothes as they headed on.
As expected, the Darkizumites want them to be their leader. Still, of course, Shizuru and her friends have a critical mission. It was funny to see them run after the train. Still, the girls wonder why someone deliberately tampered with the world of NeriAli. The mysteries of the 7G world certainly worry them, but more so with Shizuru. Still, it is a strange but funny episode with 10 stops remaining until their final destination.
Not much I can say about this Alice in Wonderland dark comedy parody. It did its job and entertained.
I wonder if Nadeko overcoming her past is a sign of what to expect in the coming episodes as they slowly come closer to Queen Yoka’s domain.
Yes, that was fun, but of course there is probably a bit more, especially that plant Should be interesting to see what lies ahead as they go deeper.
