On the day of that performance, Yori from her band Is almost here. How will it go, and will Himari find her answer?
At the beginning of the episode, Himari wonders if the outfit she chooses is cute enough. Funny how her mother walked in as her mother said her outfit was cute enough and wondered if Himari was going out on a romantic outing. While she denies that, it’s evident that it is given how she reacts. That said, Yori really likes Himari’s outfit since it looks really cute.
They went to see what outfits and accessories Yori should wear for the performance. Of course, Himari picks out a cute outfit that would look good on her, but she is unsure about Yori. While Yori wants to turn it down as she doesn’t think it will look good on her, Himari gives a look on her face, begging her, but she eventually decides to.
While the outfit may look cute on Yori, it exposes her long legs, which she is not used to. Funny how Himari covers her eyes as she never sees Yori’s legs so bare that she is not sure if she is doing something illicit. I admit Himari’s reaction is funny. Of course, Yori picked out an outfit for Himari, and while they all looked cute, she managed to pick one.
In return, Himari picks out earrings for Yori and decides to pay for them as a present since Yori paid for the straps before. When they had ice cream, Yori mentioned that Himari was the one who encouraged her to join the band and allowed herself to create a song for her. As expected, Himari has to wait to see what it is. Before Yori left Himari at her house, she hugged Himari. Yep, Himari gets to feel what it’s like to get hugged
As for the performance day, Himari wears the outfit Yori picked out as Miki picks her up. Meanwhile, Aki asked Yori something about that answer. Yori wondered what she was asking about. When Aki grabs her sleeve, Aki says nothing and thinks it will work out. We know she will be like Saeki Sayaka, as Yori already hopes things will work out with Himari.
The performance went well, and of course, before performing the last song, Yori reflected on her experiences of love and jealousy with Himari. Eventually, she performed the “love song” she had just written, and eventually, it got to Himari. Himari ran up to the front of the crowd as Himari wanted to talk to Yori. She spoke outside with her and said she found her answer.
As for the answer, Himari thought Yori was even cooler in this performance, so she wouldn’t forget the first performance. After hearing her song, Himari found out how she felt, as she enjoyed talking to her. Yori was the first person she told exciting things. Himari wants to go to more places with her and, most importantly, listen to more of her songs, both with her band and with only her. With that, Himari wants to be only with Yori, listening to her sing as she sees this as love. I admit that seeing her hug Yori was a heartwarming feeling as they are finally a pairing, and they become girlfriends. A happy start to a new and hopeful relationship.
In the second half, Himari and Yori walk together to school and spend time on the roof as usual. Of course, despite being girlfriends, they feel that nothing has changed much from Yori’s point of view. Funny how Yori says she loves Himari, which surprises her. Himari says that she loves Yori a lot. Himari ensures it’s not just another meetup by kissing her on the cheeks. I guess time will tell, but Yori looks forward to going out with her.
With that, Yori is on board with performing with the band during the cultural festival. However, they find out that they must pass an audition to perform. Of course, we see that blue-haired girl from the last time she was with Momoka, Shiho. Funny how Kaori shut the door on her. We find out that Shiho is the singer who ditched Aki’s band for a better band. She sees Aki’s band as being a bunch of amateurs. Can they disprove her and pass the audition so Himari can see Yori perform at the festival. We’ll find out soon enough.

Whisper Me a Love Song Episode 6: The Moment of Truth – The Yuri Empire
The first half of the show was excellent. The cliffhangers, resolutions and buildup to HimaYori becoming a couple were all great.
Felt bad for best girl Aki. Hopefully she will be rewarded for her sacrifice. However, based on Shiho’s appearance it looks like her joy is still a ways to go. Ganbare Aki!
Yep, it’s nice to see Himari finally figure out what love meant so she can advance her relationship with Yori. It took awhile, but the end result is great.
Sure, Aki got the short end of the stick, but hopefully she will get something good out of it, eventually.
