With Himari wanting to wait until she falls in love with Yori, Aki fires her shot, meaning that if Himari doesn’t figure out her feelings now, Aki will try to swoop in.
Last time, Aki asked if Himari had already figured out her feelings for Yori. Of course, given that Yori is a third year, Himari doesn’t have much time to figure out her feelings. Aki revealed that she has romantic feelings for Yori, but she never went so far as to date her as she was satisfied with being with Yori.
The thing is, Aki roots for Himari and Yori since Yori has a crush on Himari. However, given that Himari wants to wait until things work out, she sees Yori down, and somehow, she loses confidence that it will go anywhere, so she would instead make herself happy. That is before Miki walked and wondered what Himari was talking about as she eventually ate the cake that Himari brought her.
As Himari walked home, she thought it was okay to give the answer she gave to Yori. Sadly, it might not be the right one, given how Yori reacted. If she doesn’t find that kind of love and Aki decides to go out with Yori, is it over for Himari? Himari doesn’t want that.
The next day, Himari messed up her pastries while cooking with Momoka. Momoka wondered if Himari was having romantic feelings, and Himari wondered how she guessed. Momoka is happy to tell her situation with Yori, but in short, she wants to fall in love with her so she can date her. However, she can’t wait forever to have it happen, and she feels less confident the more she thinks about it.
Of course, after hearing this, Momoka seems surprised since she thought Himari would become smitten with her about now. Since Himari thinks love is about hugging or kissing her, she looks like it’s not going anywhere. Momoka says it’s not just that, but also cooking as well. In short, there are other ways to show love for her instead of kissing and hugging, as everyone has their definition love means to someone.
As Himari heads to the shoe locker, Yori finishes practice and meets her. At the same time, Himari wonders if it‘s okay to care about her as she misses her. Yori meets her. Himari asked if she could walk home together while Yori thought about doing the same. Himari showed the messed up tart, but Yori bit into it. While it’s salty, she is happy eating anything Himari eats. Of course, Himari seems flustered, although it’s not her best cooking, as she promises to make something better next time, as in cat-shaped cookies.
Momoka ran to Himari. Yori unconsciously grabbed Yori’s wrist, and Himari seemed confused. Himari forgot her phone. That is before Momoka meets Yori and finds out the person Himari appears to like. Yori explained why she grabbed Himari’s wrist; part of her didn’t want to see Himari run over to Momoka.
She worries that Himari will ditch her for Momoka, but I doubt this is the case. After all, Momoka might already have someone else. Eventually, Yori apologizes and suggests that Himari give her an answer after the concert. Still, she seems worried if she can’t provide an answer, but Yori seems confident that Himari can do it after hearing her song.
Either way, Yori finished her song by asking what the band thought. Maa, Kaori, and Aki seem to like it, but there is no title yet. However, Yori gives it the title Sunny Spot. After practicing it, Aki sees Yori’s phone and teases her, saying Yori got a text message from Himari about cookies and that she is bringing it to her. Of course, Himari shows up with them after Aki runs her into the hallway from the bathroom. Still, she thinks about how much Yori loves Himari and regrets being mean to Himari.
Eventually, she apologizes to her, and she brings her to the club room. Yep, Kaori seems amazed by how cute Himari is without realizing the death glare from Yori. Of course, as Yori seems worried, Himari and Maa are around the same height or slightly shorter. As expected, there is perhaps another “date” as Aki tasks them to pick out an accessory for the concert. So, it’s a date, after all, right? That is while Himari is willing to go as she brings out the cookies for Yori.
Meanwhile, Momoka, Hajime and the blue-haired girl are in a band. She has tickets that she got from Kaori, but she doesn’t seem to be expecting much from their band since they are a bunch of “casuals.”

Whisper Me a Love Song Episode 5: Next Big Challenge – THe Yuri Empire
Aki inadvertently became exactly what Himari needed to slowly step up her game. It hasn’t happened yet but it’s coming. Hope Aki doesn’t get left out because she’s my favorite character and deserves happiness too.
Jelly Yori and Himari are both precious. Heck, they’re always precious.
Looks like Momoka’s one true love wasn’t the rocker from last time who seems to have her own story to tell. Also her true love is hotter than the rocker I feel.
Yep, hopefully Aki will get her own happiness of her own although Himari is poised to win Yori’s heart of course. But yes, Himari and Yori is the best part of the show of course.
I have a strong suspicion that Momoka might be in a relationship, hmmmm.
