With the aftermath of Yumiko and Chika ruining their idol image of Yasumi and Yuhi through that unfortunate incident, now they are back to square one. While their radio show is doing well, their Seiyuu career is in dire straits as the idol façade is gone. However, not all hope is lost as their managers devise an alternative.
Yumiko did what she did to defend her friend, Chika, last time. However, this meant ruining her idol image. Yep, her manager, Kagasaki, was disappointed that all their efforts turning Yumiko into Yasumi, an idol seiyuu, had gone to waste. The Blue Crown’s president wants to scold her, but he has messed it up. The funny thing is that Yumiko will still do the stream even if the agency settled things after apologizing. It shows how much Chika means to her, although she won’t admit it.
Still, the president is grateful for Yumiko extending her hand to Chika. She would not have recovered as they plan a comeback. In a way, without Yumiko doing this stunt, Chika would have given up. Yep, I feel that Yumiko’s feelings for Chika are probably starting to get a bit romantic or closer than she admits. Otherwise, why would she blush so hard after the president thanks her?
Eventually, Chika’s manager, Naruse Shuri, meets Yumiko. Yep, she is clumsy and young but a successful manager. Of course, we also see Kagasaki pat Yumiko on the head for taking a hit for Chika.
They also meet Seiyuu from last time, Mekurun, a successful idol of Seiyuu. That is before she said mean things about Yumiko for ruining her image and talking her down and Chika, although it’s not her fault. Mekurun pretty much shows her mean side underneath the sweet image she has. Yep, Yumiko was ranting about her, although Mekurun is part of Yumiko’s and Chika’s comeback plan. After all, she has had a successful career appearing on many shows. After seeing Mekurun’s radio program on Kagasaki’s phone, Yumiko starts to know what her manager plans to do. More on that later.
With that, we learned that Yumiko suffers the most from the lack of roles, more so than Chika, although she still has a few roles that survived, with others canceled. However, their radio show is doing well as being themselves. They have their own challenges. That is besides that the perpetrator leaving the school after being doxxed. However, their school is in the public eye, and there is no way to escape it besides disguising themselves.
As expected, there are lovely moments with Yumiko and Chika as they wear their disguises and swap who they are. Yumiko becomes the reserved one, while Chika becomes the Gyaru girl. Of course, their disguises look good, although Chika doesn’t like being the Gyaru. Also, Chika complains about same-sex harassment when Yumiko says the same when Chika seems to enjoy feeling Yumiko’s breasts against her black. The yuri doesn’t disappoint here. Either way, they trick them as they laugh in secret.
Naruse and Kagasaki met at the café waiting for Yumiko and Chika, and they really liked their disguise. They, of course, explain their comeback plan, which involves more public and radio program appearances and the careful time release of singles from the unit they are in with Otome helping them. After all, the fans can’t hate on Yumiko and Chika if she is around. This involves Yumiko and Chika working together.
It was funny how Chika said that Yumiko jumped into the fire, and Yumiko imitated that Chika wanted to quit being a Seiyuu. Yep, they are bickering, but as they say, this is a sign they are much closer than it seems. Of course, they are slated to appear on Yabukisaki Mekuru’s Merry Go Round. Given the cold reception Mekuru gave Yumiko, it will obviously be awkward. Still, it should be interesting to see how their appearance on Mekuru’s program will turn out next time.

Glad Yumiko didn’t get into too much trouble and the big boys and girls fully understood what happened.
Mekuru may have had a point but she’s still a bitch.
Chika’s life was changed forever after the magical bath time. Bless you Chika.
Already mentioned my thoughts on their first scheduled radio show guest appearance.
Yep, it’s nice that they got off pretty easily, except for Chika and her mother of course. But yes, Mekuru is a mixed bag for obvious reason. Seeing her be mean towards Yumiko and Chika is just offputting, although I wonder if she will ever defrost.
