While Himari is figuring out her feelings for Yori, Yori still hopes she can make her fall for her. Yori decides to join the band, but it seems that she feels a bit distant from Himari.
From last time, it’s evident that Himari hasn’t figured out her feelings yet but is still willing to try to give Yori a chance. After all, she might feel the same love that Yori has. It gives Yori hope as she decides to join the band. Yes, with the hope that her performance, as she did during the entrance ceremony, the feeling of “love at first sight.”
While it took some time to get used to, it’s nice that Yori finally got the hang of playing with her bandmates. However, it becomes subtly apparent that Aki has a thing for Yori as she blushes. More on that later. Still, practice along with the upcoming live performance with other Light Music Club bands. Of course, this means that Yori can’t hang out with Himari daily, only for a few days a week.
In the meantime, Himari feels down as she cannot meet Yori on the rooftop because it’s a No Yori Day. Miki asks what Himari does when she goes home. Obviously, Himari doesn’t remember what it’s like to have free time since she usually spends it with Himari. Miki, of course, asks Himari to join a club that meets twice weekly. Interestingly, they showed a “Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto Desu” wall scroll. It’s unsurprising since this anime is based on a Comic Yuri Hime manga.
Eventually, Himari smells something good, and it’s from the Cooking Club. There was a 2nd year old girl cooking. Apparently, she asked if Himari wanted to join after being offered the cookies she had made that day. She has two members, but they are absent most of the time. Himari is not sure if she wants to join.
Himari is looking for one that meets two days a week, and the girl, Satomiya Momoka, says it will work out. After all, Himari can cook and share something with someone like her friends or even someone she loves. Yep, Himari imagines making something for Yori, who eats it and seems to like it. Still, Himari explains her love for Himari is complicated.
Either way, Himari decides to join. However, when Yori thinks about how long it has been since she last talked to Himari, she wonders if she should call her. Still, she wants to date Himari until she enters the classroom to reveal something big. Yep, Himari joined the cooking club, which has a 2nd-year girl named Momoka, after Yori tries to guess what club Himari joined. Obviously, Yori didn’t like hearing that, as she looked jealous. She is afraid that Himari’s heart will get taken away.
Eventually, her bandmates realize that Yori is acting strangely, and Aki takes her to a café and talks with her. Yori had admitted she was jealous of Himari meeting another girl who was in her 2nd year. Yori obviously lacks self-confidence, especially since they don’t meet each other that often. She knew this might happen when she started her band plan. Aki cheers her up, saying there isn’t a girl who can hold a cancellation for her.
That said, Himari finished her banana bread with Momoka’s help. Apparently, cooking is a bit more fun and quicker, thanks to having her around. Momoka handed Himari some banana bread to share.
As expected, she wanted Miki to taste it before having one with Yori. Of course, Miki was busy when Aki showed up and asked if Himari fell in love with Yori. She hasn’t yet, but Aki has a romantic crush on Yori, and she said that maybe Himari should just give up. Yep, I wonder how Himari will react now Aki is her rival. This is unsurprising, given there is a flashback of Aki falling in love with Yori at first sight. Still, it shows that Himari has to figure out her feelings for Yori before it’s too late.

Whisper Me a Love Song Episode 4: Of Clubs and Practicing – The Yuri Empire
The sacrifice made by Yori to work on the ultimate love song for Himari was strong. Both girls suffered.
Aki making her move was quite the cliffhanger indeed.
