Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote – Episode 4 – Dispelling The Rumors, and Their Facade

May 1, 2024 by Chikorita157 4 Comments
Yasumi rushes to school to help resolve the situation she has caused.

From last time, Yasumi heard negative rumors about Yuhi only getting the role because of a coach. After all the horrible things she said to Yuhi last time, she wants to set things right, although they find out the perpetrator.

It’s obvious that this Anti is up to no good.

As expected, we know that some wrote that article spreading rumors that Yuhi did something scandalous to get a role. I guess this happened because someone was careless in protecting the idol’s image by accidentally taking a picture of the school bag. Besides the male student who is a fan of Yuhi, some other anti-fan found out and tried to make it a big scandal to get back at Yuhi. Yep, he is a sleazebag.

He deserved this punch.

The next day, Yasumi came into the classroom. That male student seems to panic as he worries about Yuhi. That is until Yuhi came in, and the anti-fan started intimidating Yuhi, mentioning the scandal. Of course, Yuhi is scared as she doesn’t know what to do. Sure, that male student tried to stop that anti-fan by attacking him as he streamed, but the anti-fan knocked him down. It was not until Yasumi stepped in to stop him as he tried to expose Yuhi and Yasumi but Yuhi punched him. I wonder, why didn’t the teacher break up the fight?

Yuhi really feels that she can’t be a Seiyuu anymore given the abuse she received.
Yasumi comes clean with Wakana about being a Seiyuu.

Yasumi wanted to apologize privately, but Yuhi was obviously upset. She was traumatized by what had happened and wanted to quit being a Seiyuu. She believed she could not recover from this “scandal,” even if it was untrue. Yuhi runs off, and Yasumi doesn’t know what to do as Wakana comes to check on Yasumi. Yep, Yasumi finally came clean and said that she was a seiyuu.

Yasumi tells her manager that she is going to do the unthinkable.
Yep, she actually did it.

Yasumi, of course, does the unthinkable. She called her manager and said she might quit being a Seiyuu as she called Mirei to do what might be a Hail Mary. She had a special radio program stream revealing that Yasumi is a gyaru girl, comes clean about herself and defends Yuhi.

Yuhi found out about the stream.

Of course, Yuhi saw the stream and came and got upset at her. After being upset at home, the director, Kamishiro, went into the stream and revealed what happened. As predicted, he is Yuhi’s father, who divorced his wife and revealed that Yuhi is his daughter.

Believe it or not, the director came and…
actually reveals that Yuhi is his daughter.

Yuhi learned about this production; she practiced hard to get the role. Knowing his relationship with his daughter, Kamishiro recused himself from the audition practice. In short, she passed the audition for the leading role based on her performance alone. So yes, Yasumi got upset thinking Yuhi got pulled in when she worked hard to make her dream come true.

Yasumi is super embarrassed by doing this stream_ However, it’s for their advantage.
Yasumi is the one that waved goodbye to the viewers.
Now, they decided to reset their relationship again. Will it stick this time?
Who is this blonde hair girl who was listening to Yasumi’s and Yuhi’s radio program. We’ll find out soon.

Yasumi did the honor of ending the stream after embarrassing herself. After the stream ended, it got many views as the other fans exposed the anti-fan. Yep, his life is ruined, but at least Yasumi and Yuhi don’t have to do that façade anymore as they have exposed themselves, at least appearance and voice-wise. While they say they don’t like each other, which is the contrary, they reveal in the last episode that it will continue. I guess the idea of Yasumi doing the Hail Mary special stream saved not only the program but also Yasumi’s butt. Now, they will be their authentic selves, although still using their stage names as if a certain blonde-haired girl were listening to the program. Who is she? We’ll find out soon.

Another badass gay crushing a piece of crap who dared to antagonize her one true love. It’s pretty cool to see two in the same week.

Yumiko may have felt her fantastic stream to explain the situation and defend Chika was kind of unnecessary in the end we know she’s the real winner in the end.

I knew the radio show wouldn’t end and glad it didn’t. The series title wouldn’t have made sense otherwise.

Interested to see what the new cutie has in store for us. Probably being a meanie at first.

Seeing Chika punch that guy is satisfying at the very least, and at least he got what he deserves trying to get in the way of true love. Still, it’s so obvious why Yumiko did that stream although she claims she doesn’t get along (sure.. I think there is another reason why she did it to defend Chika and obviously she probably cares a lot about her, but at least it worked out in the end for saving th radio show, and it has to continue obviously.

But looking forward to the new girl.
