While Nadeshiko comes close to heading to the campsite, Rin and Ayano continue exploring, even crossing that bridge.
Thankfully, Nadeshiko made it to the train, and the two girls were on board. They are heading to Oku-Shizuoka to see Sakura, of course, before the crowds come. Of course, I’m the crazy one who went to see Sakura when they bloomed on three different days. Of course, the girls suggest that if she ever goes to Mie, to check out a nice place at the tip of Shima. Of course, Nadeshiko thought about Rin, given her last name.
Nadeshiko saw those two girls off as a special train helped the train to get up a large hill. Still, Nadeshiko has to go through a dark tunnel where she takes out her gas-powered lantern. The funny thing is the locals put in some scary stuff, which freaked the crap out of Nadeshiko, which is hilarious and cute.
Thankfully, she escaped the tunnel and got to Camp Ichishiro. The funny thing is that the campsite worker helping Nadeshiko check-in has no idea what is happening. At least she could set things up before seeing the dam in the area before boarding a train to Okuoikojo Station to get some eggs.
Meanwhile, Rin and Ayano are still far from their destination. Funny how they went through winding roads and some with stones on the ground, which Ayano somehow manages to avoid before filling up the gas. Nadeshiko finally texted them that they finally arrived. At least they should be at ease that Nadeshiko is safe.
Of course, Ayano breaks the waiting until dinner until she eats as hunger gets to them. They said that hunger is the spice that will make food taste good. Sadly, unless they had the endurance to last that long, they gave in after taking a picture of the bikes on Ikawa Ohashi. They ended up having Oden, which they enjoyed.
After going through all seven Tashiro Tunnels, they made it to Lake Hatanagi. Of course, they decide to cross that risky suspension bridge, Lake Hatanagi Ootsuribashi, given how narrow it is. It’s funny to see Rin’s and Ayano’s reactions as the wind blows and they shake over, possibly collapsing the bridge.
They finally crossed it to see a sign to beware of bear sightings when they initially wanted to hike the path. They crossed that risky bridge again, but at least they survived. At least they went to hot springs to relax before heading to their destination. Nadeshiko took in the scenery around Okuoikojo Station before returning to the campsite. Either way, it’s a fun episode, and we get to see Rin, Ayano, and Nadeshiko camp tomorrow and make that meal they are looking forward to.
