Last time, Aki, Nadeshiko, and Aoi planned a backyard camping at Ena’s place. Of course, Ayano decides to go camping for a bit.
After Ayano texted Rin at the end of the last episode, she finally goes camping. Of course, instead of coffee, she drank hot cocoa instead. However, it seemed lukewarm, so she went to a camp supply store to find something. Of course, she discovered that Rin’s portable gas burner was too expensive. Still, thankfully, the store employee showed her a cheaper alternative. Yes, a mini portable stove heated her cocoa a bit too much.
This leaves the backyard camping with Aki, Aoi, and Nadeshiko showing up at Ena’s house. The exciting thing is that the Live Action of Yuru Camp (yes, there was one) adapted this quite early with some differences.
It seems in this episode of Yuru Camp, the girls cooked sausages and of course Ena shows off the equipment for Chikuwa. The interesting thing is that the Yuru Camp Live Action (Season 2, Episode 8) covered the girls backyard camping at Ena’s place with a few differences;
– A portable stove is used instead of an alcohol one.
– Aki doesn’t end up pretend shooting Chikuwa in the live action, and instead Aoi pretends to shoot her and take her down.
– Rin doesn’t show up at Ena's place.
– Aki doesn't cut her hair in the live action, since this scene happened before that trip in the second season.
That said, Aki had her really long hair cut. Before that, they imagined Aoi with various short haircuts. However, they settled on a hairstyle resembling Nadeshiko’s older sister, Sakura, at shoulder length. Sure, Aki still doesn’t have the signature bangs, but she put them up to look like Sakura. Also, the girls find out that the gear Ena got for her dog, Chikuwa, is expensive, but she gave her dog the best. The price is obviously not cute at all. Also shown in the live-action, too, with branded gear.
Of course, there is testing the burner. As expected, Aki wants to make homemade sausages with a sausage stuffer she had in the house. She also bought some ingredients to make it, including ground pork. It’s funny how she used the stuffer as a gun as she shoots Aoi, Nadeshiko and Ena before proceeding to the dog, which she actually shoots, and it plays dead. In the live action, Aki couldn’t bring herself to shoot it, and Aoi shoots Aki instead and pretends to kill Aki. That said, the anime version had Aki overcome by Ena, Nadeshiko, and Aoi becoming zombies.
As expected, we find out that nobody seems to like Aki’s homemade sausages made with the filler. Even Aki prefers the other sausages the girls brought. It’s because the fat didn’t mix well with the mixture due to the temperature of the meat not being cold. That is why it tasted “rustic and homely” in Ena’s eyes, but obviously, Aki seems upset. I can see why she wanted to eat the other sausages. At least the burners worked, though.
That said, Ayano manages to find a tent that fits her budget. Of course, she had a text conversation with Rin. She bought equipment and wants to go camping with Rin. She asks about a camping tour and if Rin wants to go. Rin thinks Ayano’s plan is vague, but Rin will obviously bring Nadeshiko.
When Nadeshiko, Ena, Aki, and Aoi walked to Chikuwa, they considered Sakura camping. Of course, the camping places with Sakura will be busy for obvious reasons. They will need to go somewhere secluded. Of course, when Aki and Aoi parted ways with Nadeshiko, she considered doing another solo camp. That is until Aya texted that she wanted to go camping in Ouigawa with her and Rin. She doesn’t want to go somewhere too far or close. I am curious about how this camping trip will turn out next time.
