At last, Yuru Camp returns as Rin goes camping and remembers when she went with her grandfather.
At a glance, sure, there is a new studio working on Yuru Camp, but after watching it, the animation looked good, and the characters looked cuter. We see a flashback of her grandfather picking up Rin and doing some camping. In particular, we see him chisel a wood plank until it starts smoking to light a fire. Sure, child Rin got sad when her grandfather said it was time to go home, but he reminded her that she could always come back. Still, it’s a nice throwback to the second season, which had its own flashback when she was in middle school.
As expected, Rin wanted to try lighting a campfire doing the same as her grandfather did. It took a lot of effort, but she pulled it off. Interestingly, a little girl seems fascinated by the fire Rin ignited after putting so much effort into it. Was it worth it? Well, at least she got some exercise from it.
The next day, we see Chiaki, Aoi and Nadeshiko back in the club room; they haven’t been in a while since the trip and all the part-time jobs. Yep, it becomes noticeable that Chiaki’s hair has grown, especially her bangs. Usually, they are a bit shorter, above her eyebrows. Either way, they eventually decided to make containers out of cans for an alcohol-based portable burner. It’s funny how Nadeshiko struggled to cut the can and failed two times before getting it right the next time.
Of course, Minami shows up after Ena does. Before Minami came, Ena said she could cut her hair and help Chiaki. Of course, there is the idea of going on a camping trip and having haircutting, but obviously, you can see why this isn’t a good idea. Ena offered to do it in her backyard.
Aside from that, we see Minami demonstrate how the girls use alcohol burners. Funny thing that you can use drinking alcohol to burn, but of course, Minami won’t approve, and it’s not legal for the girls to buy it since they are underage. Still, Minami points out that these burners are dangerous without proper precautions.
Either way, Nadeshiko looks forward to seeing Ena’s dog again. Ena got new camping equipment to show off to Nadeshiko and her friends. While heading back, Nadeshiko took pictures of Sakura, which is still in its budding stage but hasn’t bloomed yet. Chiaki wondered why she had taken pictures of it but never said anything. Of course, Ayano is camping in a backyard, texting Rin. She will make an appearance soon. That said, it’s nice to have the show back again.

Yep, can’t wait to see the cute dogs that will eventually appear, I guess.
@chikorita157 Studio Change is always scary, but it looks really promising. Especially the character animations looked really good in this episode
