Now that the somewhat disappointing Winter season is ending, since I am still working on the review of Yuuki Yuuna Hero and Dai Mankai Chapter, I will briefly share what I plan to watch for Spring 2024. There is a lot, and of course, not everything will get covered, but it may be covered later. Here are my picks; the list is subject to change.
Yuru Camp 3
Studio: 8-bit
Air Date: April 4, 2024
At last, after three years and a movie, our favorite camping girls are finally back. While this most likely continues where the second season left off. This, of course, comes with a new studio and new animation staff, pretty much like what the third season of Gochuumon had. Will it be an improvement over the previous seasons, animation-wise? We have to wait and see when it finally airs.
Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau
Studio: CLOUDHEARTS, Yokohama Animation Lab
Airdate: April 14, 2024
This show had some setbacks, as the animation director’s staff had some changes due to health issues. While I haven’t read this source material, it looks like one of the Yuri anime adaptations I’m hyped up for. Yes, Yori receives what she thinks is a love confession from a freshman, Himari, who just admires her and does not love her. Obviously, Yori is going to try her best to fall for her.
Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?
Studio: EMT Squared
Air Date: April 1, 2024
As expected, it’s a schoolgirl show that focuses on a young girl who wants to seek out a lost friend. She boarded an abandoned train with her three other friends to the outside world. It’s obvious where this is heading, as the train might be suspicious.
Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote
Studio: Connect
Airdate: April 10, 2024
While I am getting into Seiyuus and possibly watching Seiyuu radio programs in the future for immersion, this show is about that. Yes, with two high school girls who do a weekly radio program that are supposed to act like friends but completely different personalities. It’s obvious where this might be heading, right?
Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai
Studio: Doga Kobo
Airdate: April 7, 2024
Not sure what to make out of this as an illustrator, a former idol, VTuber, and composer join forces to form an anonymous artist group. Still, this should be an interesting one to watch.
Of course, I might cover the following if I have the time or at a later date: Hibike Euphonium 3, Blue Archive, HIGHSPEED Étoile
Then again, I’m covering a lot, so it might be pushed off when there is nothing to watch.
That said, this pretty much covers what I plan to watch. Unless there is some show that I want to add to the list, this is the final list, but it certainly looked packed. Also, if you need more inspiration, check out OG-Man’s pics for this Spring.

I'm current with the US release of the Whisper Me a Love Song manga, so I'm totally going to watch that. Thanks for mentioning the others, I'll at least give them a look.
I do have the Japanese versions of the manga, but I haven’t gotten a chance to read that yet, although I do look forward to watching that. It should be a pretty busy season.

I wonder if Eupho will force more yuri scenes into the plot. Also, there's the Yuru Yuri sidestory movie that will probably be available much later this year or next. There's also the movie Trapezium where a girl will find beautiful girls to form an idol group, that miiight have some yuri, idk.
I've got lots of animals this season just from the posters alone :meowlove:
I wonder too, although there are hints that Kumiko and Shuich is a thing… sigh, but who knows if will actually happen in the end.
Yuru Yuri is still something I need to watch eventually, but three seasons of it. Maybe if there is another season that there is not much going on or if I feel like it. Won’t be this season.
For sure, yes.
