Rouge is outnumbered as Aleteia is under siege. However, can Rouge manage to pull through, and what will happen?
What is surprising or not is that Aes fights against Rouge. It doesn’t come as a surprise since she is on bad terms with her as Aes sees Rouge as a threat and decides to join the other side, the Usurpers. This leaves only Eden Varock as her ally. It doesn’t surprise me since he helped Naomi get into the Usurper’s puppet master’s airship. Sadly, he got his ID ripped out after trying to protect Rouge.
Sadly, the faction against Rouge manages to kidnap Gene as they escape. It’s obvious where they are heading. Yes, it’s the planet of Venus where Gene is carrying out his mission to terraform it.
Of course, Rouge has to face off against Cyan. Their fight is a stalemate, and Naomi tells Rouge to invert her output phase. Of course, Rouge is reluctant to do so, given that she believes Naomi betrayed her. Eventually, she did, and it was enough for Rouge to neutralize Cyan as she was taken down temporarily after Rouge deformed after completing the inversion. Naomi knew their identical frequencies when their Gladiator mode was activated.
As expected, we know that Eden survived as Ash says goodbye to his Nean assistant. Still, I’m surprised they didn’t have Cyan detained but have her in a bed. After all, wouldn’t she try to seek out Rouge again if she woke up?
Apparently, Rouge and Naomi go into space. Of course, Naomi wears a space suit before deciding to take it off. Rouge discovers what she didn’t realize, but Naomi hints about not being a tool. That is when they got into the Visitor’s spaceship. Naomi revealed to Rouge that she was one of the first Neans the “Visitors” created to interact with humans. It might be the case that she is not bound to that code either.
Anticlimactic? Well, yes, as everyone assumed she was human, she didn’t require nectar. Being the “First,” her actual name makes her the oldest. However, she doesn’t seem to have any fighting abilities, as the humans made more powerful versions before mass-producing the rest.
Rouge finally meets the Visitors or X Noah, who look like mermaids. They used to resemble humans before they had to find another planet after their home planet was destroyed. Of course, X Noah is the one who had advanced technologies, such as the Neans.
In other words, X Noah gave humans on Earth that technology in exchange for terraforming Venus so that X Noah could settle there. X Noah is the excellent alien compared to the Usurpers, formally known as Junoids, who want to destroy everything but want Venus, too. The Usurpers are using the Immortal Nine, who want the freedom to activate Code Eve to use the Neans against the humans and take Venus for themselves. The Junoid’s plan with Jill’s faction makes much sense now.
That said, you might be wondering why Naomi had Rouge arrested. Well, it’s a bid to protect her, as Rouge would have gotten disassembled right away. Naomi should have told her, as Rouge wants to punish her after going through that bad experience. She let her, but Rouge gave her a signature punch to her face. Somehow, Naomi thought Rouge hit her too hard. That is when they promise that they will stay with each other.
Of course, they need to devise a plan to get to Venus. Of course, X Noah wants Rouge to stay with them as it would be the safest. Sure, the Junoids won’t have an easy time with Orbital City. Still, then again, Rouge has a thing to settle with the Immortal Nine and Venus is in danger of falling into Junoid’s hand.
Naomi needs to devise a plan to drive off the Junoids and deal with the Immortal Nine. Apparently, X Noah accepted their proposal as Naomi plans to ask for a day off. I guess they need to find a way to get there first. Besides Ash being on the plane, Eden was there, too, meaning he was still alive.
