Utena has been fighting magical girls and having fun lately, but her grades are slipping. It’s obvious why.

At the beginning of the episode, Tres Magia is having difficulty dealing with Utena and Kiwi. Yep, Utena is having fun as she enjoys seeing Tres Magia being strangled by slime tentacles and covered in slime. That is, until they decide to call it for today. Yep, Tres Magia still can’t beat the evil team.
However, Utena’s grades are slipping, and she must do a makeup test. If she doesn’t pass, all her magical girl good will go in the trash. Utena doesn’t want that as she sees Tres Magenta putting on a show for the mothers and daughters.
The funny thing is that when Utena tries to sneak away from Magenta, Venalita spots her and pushes her to fight her. Yep, Utena couldn’t resist the urge to see Magenta in a vulnerable state. Not to mention he also mentions that Utena looks at BDSM magazines during her free time. It’s funny how Utena complains about not having privacy. I feel Venalita has something to do with Utena getting bad grades. The one thing that I’m surprised about is that Utena’s mother hasn’t realized that her daughter is reading BDSM magazines. I can imagine her reaction if she finds out.
She transformed and touched her stick to cut Magenta’s outfit. Well, she is completely naked, and there is no way she can fight like this. That is until she escapes and then tries to study. However, she can’t get the image of a naked Magenta out of her head. She messed up big time as Venalita pushed to fight the magical girl again. Utena says she can’t because she doesn’t want her magical girl stuff thrown in the trash. Is she going to study in that state?
As expected, she does the same tactic, but it seems that Magenta covers the specific parts of her body, although she is still embarrassed. Seeing Magenta almost naked, of course, gave Utena a nosebleed, which is funny, before asking what Magenta was wearing. It’s funny how the mothers and their daughters react as they are in shock before cheering Magenta on. Somehow, Utena manages to tap her hidden powers after finding how cute Magetta is, and she manages to survive as Magenta passes out. That is while she gets a nosebleed before escaping. We can call this a win, leaving Sulfur the only one to defeat.
Sadly, Utena is done for as she didn’t study. That is until she sees Kiwi’s grades. Utena begs Kiwi to help her pass the test in exchange for buying her sushi. It worked as Utena barely passed. At least Utena’s magical girl collection is safe.
In the second half, we learn more about the magical girl side. Believe it or not, Tres Magia takes photos and PR activities to get a favor from everyone. Sufur hates doing these photoshoots. After all, they are getting their butts kicked lately. We also find out that there is a light version of Venalita. Its name is Vatz, and it looks like Venalita but in white and pink. Vatz wants to defeat the evil team to bring Venalita back. As expected, he is just as incompetent as Vatz, setting up a force field to protect them so that someone can break it. Utena and Kiwi detected them.
As for the fight, we see Utena and Kiwi throw grenades at Tres Magia. Eventually, Sulfur’s shield breaks. However, she gains an advantage using her stronger form, which seems risky but almost enough to defeat them. Still, Utena gets excited as she appears determined to wipe that smug look from her face.
Ultimately, the fight ended in a draw, with Tres Magia seeming happy with the result. When will Utena finally defeat Sulfur, and what happens when Sulfur stays in her powerful form a bit too long? Either way, it looks like the third member of the evil team will finally appear next time. We’ll find out who she is next time.
Silly me. the Yellow sexual woes were this episode. Comment still stands. It was very nice, but not nearly as excellent as Utena vs Pink. That was on a whole other level of awesomeness. Pink was smart but not smart enough to beat Utena…not without using her (unbeknownst to her) secret weapon of course.
Certainly, but it’s not too surprising to see how well Haruka handled on her own, but of course Kaoruko is going to be quite stronger and tougher to defeat, for sure.
