With Kitasan giving up on the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, while Kitasan a really tough Tennoushou, she really struggled. Kitasan realizes she is past her peak as she realizes it won’t get any better.
Like Gold Ship, Kitasan basically had a press conference. You know this is not good news as she revealed that after two races, the Nippon Cup and the Arima Kinen. Yes, the news came as a shock, even from her supporters, as they are sad to see Kitasan retire from the Twinkle Series. While Duramente seems disappointed that she cannot face Kitasan again when she is at her best, it makes you wonder if she will run in the Arima Kinen.
While Kitasan trains by doing basic exercises as she struggles, Cheval seems to have the most feelings about Kitasan after hearing some of her announcements. Of course, her sisters remind her that she still has a chance to beat her. It’s because she wasn’t able to beat her. In fact, she is the complete opposite as Kitasan is more outgoing, cheerful, and charismatic, and most of all, she has all that strength. Obviously, she seems jealous as she doesn’t have the same strength and is not as outgoing as her. Still, she hasn’t given up, as she can win against her.
As for the race itself, while Kitasan has the lead, eventually, Cheval hates Kitasan but admits that she loves her as she takes the lead. Yes, it’s full of emotion as Cheval gains a considerable lead before reaching the finish line, with Kitasan getting 2nd. It took a while, but Kitasan did shake Cheval’s hand before walking away.
Still, it’s nice to see Cheval finally get a win after so many attempts and feeling resentment. Dia saw Kitasan still looking at the race track. She realizes it will be the last time racing at Tokyo Racetrack. Given that Kitasan made a lot wins without any injuries is a feat of its own. Still, they, of course, recall the races they ran here. Kitasan finally reveals that painful feeling from the race before that one as she hopes to win the Arima Kinen to finish everything. Can she pull it off? We have to wait until next time.
