After Kitasan feels down about her loss against Dia, she decides what to do as her goal. That is to get a win that puts smiles on people’s faces. Yes, to remake that moment that Teio had. Before the big race, Kitasan’s chance to face Dia in a rematch in the Spring Tennoushou, she takes her somewhere. It becomes obvious why?
After a few months passed by, the race to allow Kitasan to rematch Dia is finally here. Dia managed to get 2 G1 wins in total, while Kitasan had 4. Days before the big race, Kitasan wakes up early to take Dia somewhere. Of course, she wants to decide their destination on the spot instead of researching places to see. Plenty of time moments to see in their “date.”
Sure, Kitasan lost every time they decided on their next place to visit. Either way, it does feel like a date between Kitasan and Dia. Before they realized it, they went so far, but Kitasan eventually went by where the lighthouse was. Kitasan realized why she took Dia places. She wants to share her goal from last time.
To achieve this, Kitasan told Dia that she would not lose, and she beat Dia in the upcoming race. Dia does the same for her dream of running overseas. Of course, Kitasan took her this far so she could convey the way I feel about Dia properly.
As for the race itself, it was nice to see a video of the winners of the Spring Tennoushou before the horse girls came on the track. At the opportune time, Kitasan made her move and took the lead. Soon, Cheval Grand and Dia make their moves. However, Dia sees a different look on Kitasan’s face. She focuses on the goal and wants to see this through. When Dia sees a different look on Kitasan’s face during the race, she realizes she can’t catch up. In fact, Kitasan has a considerable lead before crossing the finish line. Dia finally realizes that Kitasan always run ahead showing sites at she can’t seen before. Either way, it looks like they are tied.
Ultimately, Kitasan got the scene she dreamed of as people were cheering on and smiling over Kitasan winning and even breaking records. Sure, Dia only got in third place, but Kitasan hopes to race with her overseas and give races that bring people to smile. As expected, the race was exciting, perhaps more so than the previous races we saw previously. But this is the best Kitasan and Dia moment we have seen thus far, besides that date. As always, Cheval is still frustrated that she still can’t win first place. She will get there, eventually.
