Now that Umika has promised Yuu to help build a rocket to help her return to her home planet. That is, while a certain blonde-haired girl was at the lighthouse and noticed someone there. It becomes obvious who she is.
From last time, Yuu finally discovers Umika’s dream of building a rocket, entering space and meeting aliens. The “forehead kissing” allowed Umika to speak her mind to Yuu about how she felt and her dreams.
Now, Umika tries to research rockets, finding it more complicated than it seems. After all, building a big one that can go into space requires a lot of engineering to ensure it works and doesn’t explode before it makes it out into space. Eventually, they found a starting point. I find it funny how when Umika searches for a rocket, it suggests she can’t make it alone.
Yuu eventually shows up, touches her forehead with Umika’s, and finds out she is doing fine. Yuu wants to practice talking alien language with Umika, and her classmates greet her using it. Of course, that blonde-haired girl is in the same class. Her name is Akaragi Haruno, and she is the class vice president who is cheerful and outgoing. Umika obviously had difficulty talking to her even though Haruno tried talking to her.
As expected, Haruno became friendly with Yuu quite quickly. She wondered if Umika and Yuu went to that lighthouse. I find it funny how Umika becomes anxious that if Yuu gets found out as an alien, a certain two men in black suits with sunglasses will capture and dissect Yuu. Yep, I find it funny that they put a Men in Blackreference in this case.
The funny thing is that her teacher didn’t like how Umika was spacing out when she was called to read a passage. Thankfully, Haruno helped her, although Umika said the passage from a textbook in a soft voice. Haruno, of course, seems to like her voice. After Umika tells Yuu not to tell anyone that, she stays at the lighthouse and pushes her to a separate room.
Yep, Umika eventually tells what happened at the lighthouse. Haruno finally apologizes to them for surprising them as she reveals it is her favorite spot. Also, Haruno believes that Yuu is an alien. Thankfully, Haruno is nice and willing to help Yuu and Umika with her dream of creating the ultimate rocket together.
In the second half, they created a plastic bottle rocket. Yep, I find it funny how Yuu tried to drink a whole litter of soda, but she couldn’t. Eventually, Haruno helped serve soda so she could clear out 5 large plastic bottles. Of course, Yuu put it together and decorated it of course.
They eventually launched it near that lighthouse. As expected, Haruno pointed out that a plastic bottle rocket isn’t going to make it past outer space. Yuu kind of came to that realization. She is not disappointed as there is stuff she wants to learn about Earth. Haruno thinks Yuu likes Earth, and she asks Umika what she would do if she went into outer space. As with Haruno, she wants everyone to learn about Earth’s wonderful places and people. Of course, Umika has a strange feeling in her chest from this. That feeling disappeared after seeing the rocket launch and how pretty the water droplets were. She wonders if it’s what Haruno mentioned.
Ultimately, the bottle rocket launch was a success, but it landed in the ocean. Of course, they have no idea how far it went, but it can’t be that far. Either way, it looks like the twin-tailed red-haired girl will finally get an appearance next time.

Stardust Telepath Episode 2: Umi-cool Homie – The Yuri Empire
This show continues to heal me after the drabness that was Summer 2023. Hope the healing continues. I’m pretty sure it will.
Yep, Umika’s cuteness and those forehead kisses are bliss, but it’s definitely a while since a Manga Time Kirara adaptation aired, so no surprise here.
