After Rae Taylor’s magical ability results came in as immeasurable, Claire is in disbelief that she lost and got beaten by Rae? Also, Rae decides to become Claire’s maid, whether or not she likes it.
From last time, it is revealed that Rae received a score of “unmeasurable” for the magical aptitude exam. Obviously, Claire is in disbelief despite Rae intentionally missing the target and not spending much time with the magic measuring device.
Rae intended to make it seem like she was throwing the exam. In fact, Rod outer herself as being a dual caster. Rae knows she can cast water and earth magic at a high magical aptitude, and dual casters are rare. Of course, Rae knew that she could never fail the exam since the game had a condition that the player’s magic aptitude test would always come in as unmeasurable. In short, it’s not really an isekai thing besides Rae’s prior knowledge and memories from her former life.
So either way, Claire is going to lose this challenge. As for what Rae wants Claire to do. She tells her to never give up, and that is all. Of course, Claire would think Rae would stop bothering her after this. No, of course not!
Claire finds out that Rae passed the stages of the interview process of becoming Claire’s maid. The head maid is about to hire her until Claire objects. As to why Rae wants to become her maid, it’s not just because of the money, but to get closer to Claire and be with her all the time.
You can see why she wants to become Claire’s maid, even if Claire doesn’t like her two. While Claire manages to convince her father not to hire Rae, Rae mentions someone’s name and gets his attention.
After talking with him, he decides to hire her against his daughter’s will, and Rae seems smug about convincing Claire’s father to become a maid. As expected, Rae looks excited when she sees Claire in her underwear as she dresses her.
Rae works with Lene, the head maid who is also a commander but comes from a family that operates a wealthy merchant company. Lene is Claire’s childhood friend as well. Lene tells Claire to eat her green peppers as the Commoner’s tax money paid for it, although Claire hates them. What does is Rae offering to eat them for that indirect kiss, which Claire decides to eat. I admit, this is funny and cute. It would be funny to see Claire’s reaction when Rae eats them and mentions it’s an indirect kiss.
After class, Lene and Rae put together Claire’s and her friend’s tea time. Of course, Claire is not enjoying her time as her father insists on having Rae look after her daughter. It’s funny how Rae remarks that she is satisfied with holding Claire’s recently worn blouse rather than having a meal. Also, Rae says she doesn’t like Claire when Lene asks. Claire becomes disappointed, but of course, Rae admits that she doesn’t like Claire; she loves her.
Besides bathing in the luxurious bathhouse and Rae washing Claire’s hair, there is bedtime. This scene was nice as Rae wanted to watch Claire go to sleep. Of course, Claire asks why Rae says she loves her. It’s much more than Claire’s cute looks and appearance, but her personality as Claire asks what Rae is after. Rae is there because she loves Claire, and she will do her best to make her believe it in a lovely moment as they stare into each other’s eyes. It’s still a tiny sign of defrosting, but Rae still has a long way to go to win Claire’s heart. From the looks of it, Rae and her friends play some games with the princes next time.
Rae scaring Claire was hilarious to me.
Rae has good taste in women. We knew Claire was beautiful but I was not prepared to see how hot she truly was.
Excited for more intimate scenes like the one at the end. Oh, the mysteries too of course but obviously we’re here for the gays
Yep, that was really funny, but Rae made a good choice. Obviously, Claire is beautiful, but of course Rae needs to work hard to defrost her of course, but she will get there eventually.
