Now Tomori’s fears come true with the band breaking up on her for the second time. She is all alone. Despite this, Tomori is still determined to sing no matter what,
I must admit, the drama in this installment of Bang Dream felt like it overstayed its welcome. However, it’s unsurprising that the 2nd band Tomori is precarious. It’s always in a precarious state of breaking up. Somehow, they managed to keep it together as they could talk things out like Soyo said.
Sadly, things didn’t quite work out as Soyo’s dreams of trying to bring back the CRYCHIC crumble. Now, Soyo wants nothing to do with the band. After Anon heard that she was being used in Soyo’s goal of bringing back CRYCHIC, she didn’t really need her since she could not. Anon feels offended by this revelation that she quits the band as she feels unwanted. With Taki unable to continue the band since Anon left, Tomori is all alone again.
Despite experiencing the trauma of being in a band that broke up, Tomori still wants to create and perform songs. It’s thanks to Tomori meeting Uika and giving some advice to get to people through singing. She had the courage to do it, but it eventually caught on. The audience started to enjoy Tomori’s performance. First, Rana joined Tomori, and then she dragged Taki along.
Of course, Tomori tries to convince Anon to join, but she is very reluctant and tries to run away from Tomori. But she managed to persuade Anon, knowing she was struggling like Soyo as if they were lost. Yep, we are finally getting a hint of the band’s name. Doesn’t “MyGo” sounds like the Japanese word for lost child (迷子、まいご).
With that, it’s Anon’s tries to convince Soyo. While she followed her home and they had tea, it’s evident that Anon will bring Soyo back no matter what. While Soyo wants to end it, Tomori goes into the crowd, grabs Soyo’s hand, and gets her on stage. Soyo eventually changes her tune after Tomori starts her monologue until she starts singing her new song.
Overall, It’s nice how each performance and the members coming back together built up to this moment. Yes, I was emotionally moved despite feeling the drama was too dragged out, but the end result was worth it. Hopefully, the reunited band will resolve its remaining differences and finally give the name reveal we look forward to. Still, it’s obvious what it will be.
Really liking this show, the designs are very expressive
Definitely the most emotional (and drama filled) installment of Bang Dream yet, but it should be interesting to see how it ends when they officially a band.
