Elda is waiting for a specific package, but it becomes apparent what it is. It involves food. Also, Koito does her shrine maiden succession ceremony. As expected, Elda gets dragged out of the house again.
Apparently, Elda is on her laptop computer checking her email. It becomes evident that she is waiting for a special “Potato Honey Kintoki Mousse Pudding” that is hard to obtain. Yes, it is that popular. The funny thing is that Koito was talking with Koma about doing a mail order to buy a return gift to a parishioner that moved to Nagano, giving them apples. Yep, Koito got the idea of possibly giving them delicious meat. Yep, they said mail-order food is really great.
Meanwhile, Elda finally receives the pudding she was waiting for. She wanted all of it to herself until Koito came back. After that, Elda thought about having it with Koito. Since Elda went out of her way to get them, she wants them for herself. That is until Koito returned with exclusive snacks and saw an empty box. After that, Elda couldn’t really hide it.
After Koito whips out exclusive ice cream, she can’t hide it for much longer. At least Elda decides to keep one of the puddings for Koyuzu, with whom she is on good terms. Also, she wants to keep the glass jars since they look good. So Elda shows her collection of empty glass jars, and Koito doesn’t get this at all.
As expected, with all the display of food, the food Koito and Elda ate looked so good. But, of course, they keep whipping out mail-order snacks, sweets and drinks. Yes, they got a bit too carried away by how good the food tastes that they become gluttons.
Remember what Koma said last time when Koito was scarfing down three not Happy Meals. She said that Koito would become chubby and she would look cuter that way. I would have thought that Koito would become concerned about her weight. Either way, Koyuzu doesn’t seem happy that Koito and Elda ate a lot of sweets and snacks. They don’t need dinner from her. Given her angry looks, they won’t do this again soon.
In the second segment, Koito finally does her shrine maiden succession ceremony. They do this during winter, of course, during the middle of the night. While we know Elda hates going outside, especially during the cold months, she has to. I find it funny how she is bundled in layers of clothing, which makes her look so out of place. Her reaction she had after Koito took off the clothing is hilarious. I can see why Koito doesn’t want Elda dressed like this since it’s her special moment.
They eventually head down to the endpoint of the ceremony as they hear the song revering Elda’s eternal life. But, of course, the endpoint is a convenience store, and they went there to buy ramen to celebrate. Interestingly, Elda realizes Koito picked the same ramen bowl as her mother. Like they say, like mother and daughter. Since Koito mentioned that her mother passed away in the first episode, which led to that moment with Elda, this is quite fitting.
Either way, it’s a fun episode. Also, a dark blonde skin elf girl is going to visit Elda. I wonder how that will turn out next time.

Not much to add this episode. Elda still rules. We need more Koma. Koito doing her best to be responsible and keep up with Elda is lovely. Never anger Koyuzu. Excited to meet the chocolate elf and her big miko.
It’s not too surprising since it’s mostly about Elda and Koito eating sweets and snacks, but the food still looks good. More Koma will be nice.
But yes, the chocolate elf appearance should be an interesting one next time
i love the song revering Elda…i wish it was on youtube or something but i couldn’t find it
