After defeating a Kraken last time, Yuna returned after that faithful moment with Fina. Now, Yuna created another picture book as someone requested Yuna to do a quest involving bees. No, not the bees!
I have to admit, it’s nice to see a nice recap of how Yuna met Fina in the first season. Sure, the picture book is just an abridged version, and Fina is a bit shyer compared to the one in the picture book. But, of course, she is making the picture book for Princess Flora until she gets a request. That is when Fina came back from harvesting the monsters. Yep, she was trying to hide her depiction of Fina in the picture book from her.
Later, they head to the restaurant as Fina mentions Yuna’s popularity. Unfortunately, while eating bear-shaped pancakes with honey, the restaurant is dealing with a potential honey shortage. The manager is unsure if they can keep the dish without temporarily raising prices or taking it off the menu. Yep, it’s like the egg shortage due to the avian flu in real life. This caused prices (besides the usual inflation excuse from the egg cartel) to skyrocket.
Of course, nobody is willing to take the request because of hordes of orcs and Mylene pushing Yuna to do the quest. After all, they get the honey from the bee tree, which is rare, but has a lot of bees in one place.
Not wanting to disappoint the children, she does it and discovers that Orcs are attacking bears. Naturally, Yuna feels reluctant as the bears could threaten the beekeeper despite Kumakyuu and Kumayuru wanting to save them. But, of course, when the Orcs start attacking the bear cubs, Yuna has no choice but to defeat the orcs.
As expected, once the bears are saved and healed, they obviously go for the honey. Also, we find out that the beekeeper had a deal with the bears to allow them access to the honey as long they don’t bother them. In exchange, he also maintains the flower fields and has access to the honey safely. Yep, he hid the fact about the bears since he didn’t know how well Cliff reacted.
Eventually, Yuna returns, and they return to the restaurant to eat pancakes with Fina. Noa came by with Cliff. Yep, she came to meet Fina to work on the Yuna fan club thing and a letter while Yuna met with Cliff. As expected, it’s nice to see Noa act her usual self. It does kind of remind me of the other blonde-hair princess, Sabine. Of course, Yuna mentioned that deal about the bears, and he seems okay with it.
As expected, Yuna receives a letter from Ellalaura from the royal capital. So, of course, Princess Flora is anticipating that picture book. Also, it’s nice to see Yuna bring a meal of honey bear-shaped pancakes, which Flora enjoyed. But, of course, she wants to have it anytime, so Yuna reluctantly promises to give the recipe.
As expected, Yuna also meets the queen, Kitia, who seems amazed that Yuna looks like a bear. As expected, Ellalaura wants copies of the picture book to make sure there are replacements. Yep, she also wants to give her other officials and servants copies. Hopefully, Yuna has a way to duplicate them.
Then, of course, Ellalaura gives her another task of guarding the students for hands-on training. As expected, Shia is participating. Given that Ellalaura knows that Yuna wants to escape from this task by making excuses, she has no choice but to do it. We understand what Yuna will do next time. Either way, she is happy to see Fina welcome back home. Yuna is grateful to have quick travel to be with her beloved.
Other Late Breaking News
As the spring season heats up with many shows airing, some I won’t cover formally, I decided to do a side anime blog. I want to bridge the gap with the social media landscape being uncertain. Yes, for those in the aniblogosphere with the Fediverse, the Mastodon Network™.
Kireina Yuri, which is a new side anime blog. It will have short anime impressions, manga reviews (mostly CGDCT and Yuri-genre series), and fandom stuff. Those on Mastodon can comment directly to the post by making a reply, as long it’s not from the bad instances I banned at Sakurajima. If you already subscribe to this blog on WordPress Reader, subscribe to our sister blog too.
Also, I highly suggest making an account on Mastodon for those still on Twitter. Twitter functionality is breaking quickly as the block function doesn’t work correctly. Also, soon, only Twitter Blue accounts will only get recommended on the “For You” tab, defeating the purpose of being on there.
Suppose you are an Anime Blogger or a reader who reads Anime Blogs. In that case, I suggest joining the instance I set up, Sakurajima. We have a handful of Anime Bloggers on my server besides me. Some there are Crow’s World of Anime, Lesley’s Anime and Manga Corner, Draggle’s Anime Blog, Beneath the Tangles, Magic Planet Anime, and others.
While I had to set signups for approvals as we had trolls trying to attack our server, my goal was not to make it extremely big. Instead, I want to make it a pleasant place for Anime Bloggers to interact with other Anime fans in the wide Fediverse. However, I plan to support this effort for the foreseeable future as anime is a big part of my life, like with video games and technology.
Like Twitter, alt-right trolls and extremists still exist. The biggest instances, like Mastodon Social/Online, do not ban some like s**tposter club and c***rcriminals eu. You shouldn’t join the biggest instance out there since this isn’t Twitter, and go for one that fits your niche. On our server, we already yeeted the instances that are deemed toxic.
Of course, there is a way to join without approval. It’s basically our worse kept secret. You can join through this link without needing approval first. I still monitor signups, so trolls still get the hammer. I do hope we see more of you there. After you join, you can invite your friends to come over. Suppose you already have a Mastodon account and want to move over. In that case, you can do so by following these instructions after joining.
I hope I can convince those still on Twitter to come on over. I don’t want to see you lose your connections if Twitter were to collapse or shut down, which can happen sooner than you think.

First Impression: Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear -Punch! – Beneath the Tangles
Kuma Bear 2 will serve me well as the “healing” anime after the heavy drama in RWBY and Gundam Girls this Spring season. Happy to see our sexy girl in a cute bear suit and her adorable future wife and harem once more.
Yes, it’s nice to see Yuna and her cute harem once again, but I do look forward to more developments with Yuna and Fina as always.
OH MAY GAH these bears are so cute!!!
Yep, they sure are.
Happy with the return of Yuna and her imouto harem (“little sister” harem, with Fina as her main consort).
From this episode, we can tell that the series will mantain their lighthearted atmosphere, with our overpowered bear protagonist solving all the problems.
Just what we need to aliviate our hearts on mondays, before the stress that comes from studies/work in the rest of the week.
Yep, it took two years to see a return of Yuna and her female harem. Still, it should be a nice show to relax on, besides the fact there is a lot to cover in the week. Should be interesting to see how the adventures of Yuna turns out.
