Since there is not much to say about the latest episodes of Mou Ippon and D4DJ All Mix, I will combine my thoughts in one big post for this week.
Mou Ippon Episode 10
After Michi bought an excellent showing in the first round with a clean ippon sweep, the next round of the tournament with Aoba West facing off Nishikiyama gets a bit harder. While it’s impressive that Michi continued her streak as she won two matches straight. However, fortunes change when Megu takes the stage,
She is big, but this is a significant advantage, and she looks like a bully. Given her weight, she is one of Nishikiyama’s aces as she takes down Machi by overwhelming her with her weight alone. Now, it’s Sanae’s turn.
While Sanae was afraid, she tried to fend off Megu. Still, she faced significant challenges as she couldn’t use any techniques against her. We get an interesting flashback of Sanae doing pin-downs. She managed to do one and almost got a win. However, Megu manages to break free and works to pin down Sanae.
After Sanae managed to get out of Megu’s grip. Megu won against her this round. Sure, it’s sad to see Sanae this upset despite putting up a big fight, but hopefully, she will learn from this match next time. Of course, Himeno now knows everything she needs to, as Megu is worn down quite a bit. She puts the training she did when the club was on the verge of going away, along with Shino helping her train. It pays off after Himeno overcomes the difficulties as she finally throws down Megu with an ippon. Sadly, the next match led to a draw, but still a good fight.
Of course, they saved Towa for last. Sure, the vice-captain of Nishikiyama was formidable. But, since Aoba West, Towa takes down Nene quite quickly despite being a speedy ace and scoring many points. Seeing Megu’s face when Nene loses was funny.
While it’s nice to see Aoba West make it to the next round, although with difficulties, at least most members shined. Despite Sanae not winning, hopefully, she will try to get a win next time. However, the next round might become even more challenging as they face a powerhouse team from Tokyo. How well they will do next time. We’ll see next time.

D4DJ All Mix Episode 10
As expected, it’s an episode where Happy Around and Peaky P-key decide to go on a local retreat in November. I find Kurumi’s freakout over all the shops closing and wondering what happened. I guess she didn’t get the memo or that they wanted to see her get upset since she is a prankster, after all. Since the focus is on the holiday performances, I can see why they canceled the November performance. As expected, they save the best for life.
Of course, we see Shinobu complain about Peaky P-Key wanting to go to a cold place for a retreat, and she hates the cold. That is when she catches Rinku mentioning something about hot springs. She even invited Shinobu and her friends.
They eventually stayed at Rei’s family hot springs inn because her parents were out, and all the inns were booked. So they had a hot pot as Maho put in the extra spice. Yes, they put in bell peppers, which Shinobu hates.
Of course, Muni gets upset since she hugs Maho when they figure out what to have for dinner. Still, there are lovely Muni moments, especially when she tries the spicy hotpot. Also, seeing Shinobu sneak and sleep in Kyouko’s futon was cute. Apparently, Kyouko and Shinobu pairing is a thing that I didn’t know about.
Still, seeing everyone’s reaction when Shinobu woke up was funny, and everyone was staring at her. At the same time, Kyoko said good morning to her. Now that is embarrassing for her and cute as well. Meanwhile, Muni looks annoyed that Rinku didn’t do the same for her.
