After Noa and her friends in Photon Maiden overcome their challenges of finding new colors, they have a training camp. Of course, Lyrical Lilly tags along.
Last time, Noa and her friends struggled to find new colors for Photon Maiden. They eventually found it after admitting to their anxieties. Yep, that their real selves are super cute than cool. Even so, they want to do some training to help get away from the all-cool image. Then, of course, Saki notices the new colors that they haven’t seen last time.
Even so, they must contend with doing stuff independently, as their producer wants. Then, of course, Noa runs into Kurumi in the marketplace. Noa mentions the training camp. Of course, Kurumi says this to Miyu, Haruna, and Miiko, and they decide to go on one since it sounds fun. Of course, Lyrical Lilly offers a fancy place for their joint training camp.
Not much happened at the camp as Photon Maiden did their usual practice. Then, of course, Lyrical Lily does their usual singing practice, which involves singing hymns. Still, it’s interesting how Lyrical Lily tries out Photon Maiden’s dance routines while Photon Maiden sings the hymns.
While it’s evident that Lyrical Lily struggled with the involved dance routines compared to Photon Maiden singing their hymns. They needed to adjust their vocals but hadn’t had much trouble. Still, the purpose of this is to try something new, hence the colors that Noa talks about. Also, it’s funny to see Noa squeal cute, especially regarding Kurumi incorporating bunny hops into the dance routines and Lyrical Lily’s “cute” music.
Aside from that, they had dinner and even cooked rice in an old-fashioned rice cooker. Seeing Noa pick up a snake when Kurumi didn’t play a trick is hilarious. It was an actual non-venomous snake, which looked at Noa and hissed at her. I find her reaction quite funny and cute as she becomes traumatized. Of course, Kurumi put in unconventional ingredients consisting of junk food because she felt it would taste good. It’s funny how Towa used too much fire and almost burnt the steak, but at least it turned out well.
After dinner, the girls relaxed in a sauna since there was still some firewood. They also watched a scary movie, which Noa dreads a lot. Of course, she passes out after seeing it. That is while Saki and Miyu went star gazing. While we learn quite a bit about what Saki’s father does. This is what got her into DJing and passing the audition for Photon.
Still, Miyu feels that the starry sky matches Photon Maiden’s image when Saki mentions her issues and difficulty finding a new direction. She asks Miyu for advice and doesn’t seem to know that they only do things they like and want to do with no disagreements. She finds out by asking her friends.
As expected, it ties back to the last three episodes about the importance of the team. In short, Saki needs to clearly mentions her image and not overthink it. Then, of course, Saki mentions the color of the hymn Miyu sings, reminding her of the crowd holding light sticks. Either way, Saki found her answer, as Ibuki noticed. I wonder how the new Photon Maiden will turn out now that Saki has found her image. We’ll see soon enough.
