Anis decides to take Lainie in, but what kind of magicite is actually in her? Also, how will Euphie react to seeing her?
Last time to Lainie’s horror, Anis told her that she had magicite in her. It’s easy to feel sympathetic toward her, given her shy personality and the harm she unintentionally caused. Also, I liked how Ilya doesn’t seem all that amused by Anis that she decided to get tea instead.
However, seeing her meet Euphie was an awkward moment, given the trouble she caused. Not so surprisingly, Euphie doesn’t have any resentment towards Lainie over what happened and decides to apologize to her. After all, she knows that Lainie didn’t mean it. Then again, without her, she wouldn’t have met Anis, who she developed feelings for. Also, she wants to help Anis Magicology’s dream a reality. Besides, she knows that Lainie is seeking their help as she cries.
With that, Tilty looks into Lainie until she notices something after noticing her ability to control other people’s feelings. She borrows a forbidden text since it has the answers she wants.
Apparently, in the forbidden book is techniques that magician use to extend their lives to the extent of others. What kind of non-human creature can do this? The person used a magicite and put it in themselves. This differs from Anis’s approach as she applied it to her body, which has lower effects, both negatively and positively.
Tilty describes that this magician deceived people under cover of night to accomplish this as a monster spoken in fairy tales. You guessed it, a vampire. This magician plans to create many of them so that they can inherit his ideology. Yep, Liainie is unlucky being a descendant of one. Anis calms her down and reassures her that everything will be fine.
Thankfully, Tilty performed a technique so that Lainie could control her powers. However, she noticed her eyes turned red, and she had sharp fang teeth. The next day, she was urged to suck someone’s blood, and Ilia did the honors. Yep, let’s say she didn’t have a good time.
While Tilty put the book away, Euphie asked her something. That is after Tilty notices how serious Euphie is as she sees jealousy. Euphie doesn’t notice it, but she feels uneasy if Anis still has a purpose as an assistant for her. After all, Euphie’s reputation is cleared thanks to help Anis slay the dragon. Furthermore, Euphie is unsure if Tility will take her role as her purpose is done.
As expected, Tilty tells her she is only helping Anis since she is interested in magicology and magic tools, but not the magician part. Yep, Tilty eventually went there. If Al becomes King, Anis might go into exile. Is Euphie ready to tag along when the time comes? She can’t half-heartily do it since it will affect her feelings.
With that conversation on her mind, Anis eventually notices something off with Euphie. She decides to west with her. Euphie asks about her future as she doesn’t want to be half-hearted. While she doesn’t know the answer, Anis says she likes magic because she likes it, like being in love. Euphie admits that she wants to fall in love like that too. Yep, it’s obvious where this is going, as Anis offered to sleep with her.
After Ilia resolves Lainie’s urge to suck blood, Anis receives a letter. It explains that if she doesn’t explain what she plans to do with the dragon’s materials, the authorities will take them away. As expected, Anis didn’t seem amused by this. But, of course, this was part of Al’s plan, as he couldn’t slay the dragon.
With that, Euphie finally lives up to being Anis’s assistant as she originally intended. She explained the usefulness of the flying broomstick that they used during the dragon slaying. I find it funny how Euphie says the broomstick design is impractical.
Euphie brings out a more practical design for a magical flying machine resembling a fighting jet and explains the economic benefits to society. Euphie also explains how Anis’s team will build the device with the materials from the dragon.
Either way, Euphie manages to convince mostly everyone, which gets the person loyal to Al upset as everyone claps. However, Anis seems happy with the presentation Euphie gave. After all, it was part of the plan when she took Euphie in to help promote her Magicology. The question is, can they pull it off? We’ll find out soon enough.

The addition of the vampire Lainie in the main party was a nice element in the story. Mainly with her possible pairing with Ilia.
And following a stern advice from Tilty, we see Euphie grow up again as character. She is steping up to become an irreplaceable partner to her beloved princess.
It’s possible since Ilia is willing to help her, but I do wonder what will come out of it if it really happens. Still, I agree that its nice to see Euphie have some more character development to what Anis expected when she brought her on.
Glad tensions between Euphie and Miss Bazooka were brief as she had more important concerns, learning she’s capable of jealousy. Her wonderful journey of self discovery continues.
Hope our heroines having wonderful bedroom scenes becomes a trend.
Vampire Lainie is a delightful surprise and Ilia’s a trooper who deserves just as much praise as our heroines.
The presentation was great as the titular revolution had begun.
Yes, it went better than I expected, but it’s not too surprising to see Euphie feel envy. That is a strong feeling, but at least it lead to a nice moment. Also surprising that Lainie became a vampire, although Illia helping her was interesting.
But yes, the presentation is nice, which is obviously why Anis take her on in the first place.
