After Muni cut and uploaded the video for the town’s revival project, it was a huge success. However, it may be too much of a success that it sets expectations for Lyrical Lily a bit too high for the audience. With that, they finally decided to perform a song. Can they make a great song that meets this expectation?
Last time, the video that all the DJ groups collaborated on was a huge success. However, while watching the video stats, Muni noticed that the number of likes was rapidly increasing. The funny thing is that Muni seems worried about what will come for Lyrical Lily.
The following day, Miiko wakes up and meets up with her friends, Miyu, Haruna, and Kurumi, heading to school. They had a meeting after school, and Muni felt concerned about something. If you recall, Muni saw the like count skyrocketing.
While it’s good that the video gets Rinku excited, Muni rain on their parade. This success means that high expectations come with high pressure. There is a chance that Lyrical Lily performs and does not get the same reaction from the audience. Sure, Muni seems a bit too worried, but it results from Lyrical Lily wanting to do the next show. This surprises Kurumi as Haruna finds this the right time to relieve the pressure of the other groups helping them.
However, Lyrical Lily has one problem. Yep, creating a song that would meet everyone’s expectations. Rinku suggests making a song that fits the month’s theme for each month. Since it’s March, they get help with compositions that fit the overall theme for the particular month. After all, March is about the start of spring, graduation (at least in Japan).
They come up with things that remind them of the current month. Things like spring flowers like peach blossoms, tulips, and daffodils, food associated with the time, and the doll festival. Still, it’s nice to see the girls hang out with Photon Maiden, Merm4id, Happy Around, and Peasky P-Key. All the girls made Hina dolls to fit the theme as Lyrical Lily throws a festival. Funny how Muni seems dissatisfied with the arrangement of the dolls, and she moves her doll self next to Rinku’s. Yep, Muni’s love for Rinku is real.
Before the performance, the girls had some food and non-alcoholic drinks and played a game of Twister. I have to admit the game of Twister was intense between Yuka and Shinobu. That is until Esora decides to land on them, and they fall on each other.
Either way, the girls had a lot of fun, but this left the performance the next day. Lyrical Lily performed at the Green House, and the audience enjoyed their performance quite a lot. Their song is good, and it’s interesting to see what style of music they specialize in. From this, Aoi is deep in thought, and Tsubaki wonders what is up. Yep, it seems that RONDO might need to step their game up.
That said, I watched the OVA, and it was enjoyable. It’s nice to see the connection between Merm4id and RONDO. After all, Tsubaki and Rika are childhood friends. Sure, I would ship them, but Aoi has a strong interest in Tsubaki. But it’s obvious why Merm4id has a lot of appealing aspects, given their sexy and mature aesthetics.
