Euphie moved into Anis’s villa after Anis took her in as her assistant. We learn a few things about Euphie as she adjusts to living at Anis’s place.
In the beginning, we see that Anis has moved out of her residence as she locks up the room. It certainly feels like an end of an era, as the engagement didn’t work out. But it could be a blessing in surprise despite her years of preparation to become a potential queen. At least Anis gets the perfect girl that can help kickstart her Magicology developments. She takes out a fancy-looking box containing a key as she moves out. This will become important later.
As expected, Euphie woke up at Anis’s villa as she wakes up. Apparently, Ilia went to Euphie’s room as she needed to ask her something. While Euphie seems hesitant, apparently, Anis’s father summoned her. More on that later.
While Euphie had breakfast, the alarms went off. Her broomstick experiment fails yet again as she crashes to the ground. Then, Anis mentioned that she would make a magical tool that best suited Euphie. Before that happened, she had Euphie put some magic in a Mana Blade that Anis holds. It turns into a big sword after Euphie puts some of her magic into it. Yep, she was amazed by how light it was. She also tries flying on a broomstick.
While she was hesitant, given what happened in the first episode, Anis reassured her that she got her back. Then, of course, Euphie flew, and she seemed amazed before realizing Anis was waving a white cloth. Before she realized it, it went out of control, and she crashed into the ground. I find it funny how Euphie seems disappointed, and Anis seems desperate to make it up to her before Euphie starts laughing. That is before Ilia came to pick her up. Of course, Euphie had to change before meeting Anis’s father.
Euphie meets with Anis’s father with Ilia. She basically answered questions about her interactions with Baron Cyan’s daughter. Of course, Anis’s father doesn’t seem happy about Al going against his arranged marriage. Still, he seems concerned about how the conservative nobles will react.
Thankfully, he doesn’t see anything that ruins Euphie’s reputation despite Al’s lies due to being drunk on Love with Lainie. Euphie hands the key back to the forbidden library since she doesn’t see a future of being queen. While he insists on her keeping it, she wants him to keep it.
As she returns home, she sees maids cleaning out the hall and packing stuff up. There stands a dress that a maid was working on. The maids talk about Euphie’s figure not changing at all. Yes, it’s a wedding dress that Euphie doesn’t need anymore.
Of course, Ilia complains about Anis overeating, refusing to wear corsets and bustiers and getting her outfits ruined that she needs to mend them. But, if it’s not apparent already, Anis is genuinely a free spirit. Can Euphie become like her as she doesn’t have expectations holding her down? Only time can only tell.
The next day while having breakfast, Anis came in while wearing what looked like an outfit a mechanic would wear. She wants to show the tool she made explicitly for Euphie. Of course, it looks like Anis haven’t had much sleep, as Ilia doesn’t seem happy that Anis isn’t appropriately dressed. At least the new tool works, as Euphie tested outside by cutting a tree and setting it on fire. Thankfully, she didn’t cause a forest fire. She also turned it into a water blade.
Obviously, Euphie had a lot of fun using it, and Anis becomes amazed by her magical abilities. Anis thinks Euphie is having fun suits her best as she made the tool with Euphie’s qualities in mind. She calls the tool Arc-en-Ciel, meaning rainbow, as the magic attributes have different colors.
Euphie thanked her as Anis fell asleep on Euphie’s lap as became happy over making a tool that suited her the most. This is the first time Euphie has had someone lay her head on her laptop as she tears up. Euphie envies Anis’s free spirit personality and Anis towards Euphie’s magical abilities and pretty looks. Still, it’s nice to see them grow a bit closer, bit by bit.

Euphie’s depression hurt my kokoro. Hopefully Anis will help fill the emptiness in her heart.
Yes, seeing everything ripped away is though, but I do hope that Euphie will find a new path. I hope so too.

Now we have the mandatory self reflection arc, where a depressed Euphie have to adapt to her new life. It’s good to know more about Euphie’s background and how difficult is to find another way to live after such a setback.
Let’s hope her heart gets healed soon by Anis’s Antics.
Yes, it was rough for Euphie to adjust to life, and it was interesting to learn more about her difficulties from her standpoint. For sure, Anis got her back and I do hope with her antics, she will find other path for herself. As the saying goes, one door closes and another opens.
