Now that Anisphia picked up Euphyllia after Anisphia’s older brother, Algard, dumped and humiliated Euphyllia at the ball. Is he in trouble as his little sister spills the beans? Anisphia also plans for Euphyllia to restore her reputation and possibly change the kingdom and society forever.
Euphyllia’s father visited Anisphia’s, speculating what would happen. Yes, Anisphia’s father mentioned his frustrations over handling Anisphia as she worked on her magical inventions. But, of course, Anisphia’s father has doubts about his son having the standards to become a future king.
His hunch on Algard becomes true as Anisphia comes to his office with Euphyllia. Sure he gets angry at her before explaining her side of the story. However, she eventually said that Algard called the engagement off so he could propose to his crush, Lainie. Not to mention, Euphyllia’s reputation is now ruined by his slanderous accusations.
Anisphia also knows she can’t leave her there since Euphyllia since she is too valuable for her magic skills. Moreover, she is attracted to Euphyllia’s good looks and cuteness. Given that she is a talented magic user, making Ephyllia her assistant will help Anisphia accelerate her work on Magicology.
By having Eyphyllia promote Anisphia’s works, she can improve her reputation and help clear her name. After all, Anisphia’s reputation is in the dumps thanks to her numerous failed experiments, which wreak havoc on the kingdom. However, she doesn’t seem to mind since it’s her passion project.
It’s easy to see why, but her inventions can potentially change the kingdom and society forever. After all, Eyphyllia’s father mentions that there is no one path to the throne, as it’s not stated in the law. In other words, Algard may not get it and Anisphia, despite her reputation. Although sure, we see Eyphyllia apologizing for her failure, her father did the apologizing. After all, Eyphyllia did nothing wrong, but maybe he realized that he shouldn’t force the marriage on her, given how Algard behaved. Not only that, he is alright with having his daughter stay with Anisphia, given her royalty and great potential.
Anisphia wants her because she has an attraction to her. She makes it very apparent by being very close to her. In a flashback, when Anisphia shares her intention not to take the throne, she says she doesn’t want to marry a man and wants to fall in love with a woman instead. Even when she was young, Anisphia declared she was a lesbian to her father. Even so, I must admit the moments she is lovey-dovey with Eyphyllia went beyond expectations.
In the second half, Ilia serves her tea at a precise temperature using purified water from the bath water. Eyphyllia is surprised at how well it tastes despite it using bath water. Finally, Anisphia tells Eyphyllia to address her as “Anis,” and she will call Eyphyllia “Euphie.”
Anis showed her around the workshop and the items she made, and Euphie was amazed by her magical tools. They look like inventions from our world, and it uses spirit stones. However, Anis hoped to use Euphie’s magic so she wouldn’t need to use spirit stones. Sure, Euphie takes magic and spirits for granted, but she is amazed by Anis’s magical tools. However, Anis shares her envy that she can’t use magic despite being part of the royal family.
As expected, Euphie realizes that if everyone has access to magic tools, it will give the people more freedom and power. Sure, the nobles may not like this since magic is what makes them powerful, but Anis has the potential to change everything. By helping her, she can become part of something big. So, of course, Anis promises Euphie she will make a magic tool for her.
Lastly, the end of the episode is self-explanatory. Anis is eager to undress Euphie from her fancy dress and change her into the pajamas she gave her. She had her sleep in the same bed. Yep, they eventually held hands. That is while thanking her for coming with her as Euphie finds out why Anis helped her.
Besides Anis having an attraction for Euphie and self-interest, she believes that Euphie is perfect, given her ability to control her emotions and stay calm and righteous. Most importantly, Anis sees Euphie as someone who can smile and do whatever she wants, although she can’t right now. She also wants Euphie to use her magic to make people smile. From this, we know why Anis and Euphie are meant for each other, and the moments with them are glorious. Either way, I can’t wait to see how their relationship will go, as they are more than just friends.

I commend the fathers, especially Euphie’s for the way they handled the news.
Anis is already a yuri icon two episodes in. I wish her the best of luck earning Euphie’s love. She’s totally worth courting. Oh yes indeed.
It’s good to see their fathers being supportive of their daughters choices, although Anis’s father gets annoyed at her antics. But I agree, Anis is already a yuri icon, especially after coming out of the closet at a young age. Yep, I look forward to how her relationship will go from here with Euphie.
So early in the game and Anis already leave her mark in yuri community. It must be only a question of time for Euphy to fall for her (the focus on the show seems to be yuri romance after all).
And Anis interaction with her father promises to be the best comical moments of the series (followed by Anis/Illya tsukomi pair).
Yes, it’s quite surprising and amazing, probably one of the first I saw at least so far. But hopefully Euphie will feel the same eventually. But I agree, Anis’s fathers interactions with her daughter is quite funny
