After Sarasa and her friends went to Lake, the chains from Sarasa’s pendent to limit her powers came off. So now, she needs to find a way to fix it until an unfortunate event happens.
From last time, the girls had a large catch, bringing home a lot of ligarex meat. Of course, Sarasa seems worried over her pendant. After it’s the thing that limits her magical powers so she can use them. I can see why she feels anxious as she writes a letter explaining what happened.
Of course, we learn more about the pendent and why Ophelia made it for her. Sarasa, while she finished her last job, was looking for another. Then, Sarasa saw a job posting that appealed to her. This was when she met Ophelia and her assistant, Maria. Sarasa proved her skills with a written test and passed it flying colors. Obviously, Ophelia saw a lot of potential in Sarasa and wanted her to show her skills.
Ophelia took Sarasa and took her down to the dungeon to have her show her alchemy skills. Apparently, she doesn’t care if Sarasa is only trained at school and has no practical experience. Ophelia only cares about what Sarasa can do. So Ophelia instructs Sarasa to hold the alchemic cauldron and use her magic. Of course, she managed to create something out of it, but it’s obvious she put in too much power. Thankfully, Ophelia protected her from getting completely frozen.
It’s evident that Sarasa holds a lot of potential with her magical powers, but she can’t control her power properly. Given that her livelihood depends on graduating from the alchemist school, I can see why Ophelia decided to hire her. Give something that allows her to control her magical powers while paying her. This is especially the case after hearing what happened to Sarasa’s parents. After all, if she did nothing, Sarasa would cause an accident and possibly get expelled from the academy.
Of course, part of Ophelia taking in Sarasa as her apprentice is thanks to Maria. Thankfully, Ophelia didn’t regret taking Sarasa in since it reminded her of the fresh excitement towards alchemy. Unfortunately, Ophelia lost that since she didn’t bother making difficult artifacts in the later volumes. In other words, Ophelia finds fulfillment not only because of Sarasa but also Maria. I can see why Ophelia and Maria are soulmates as she hands her a bag she prepared.
Before Ophelia received the items, Sarasa was about to send the bags of ligarex with a letter explaining her situation. But, of course, Iris always seems to get into bad situations. This time, she dropped the bag, and the stuff came out.
After Iris returned all the items, Sarasa did the transportation, and they stepped back. Of course, she slipped on the slimy puddle from the bag she dropped and almost went near the transport circle before Sarasa saved her. In the process, she dropped her artifact, and it got transported. To make matters worse, the teleportation circle received damage in the process.
Sarasa is in a challenging situation. As we know from the flashback, the only thing that can give her control is that pendent that Ophelia made. I felt bad seeing Sarasa struggle to control her powers on her own. Her friends even start worrying about Sarasa and spending so much time on it. That is while Sarasa is worrying about where the pendent went.
Thankfully, Ophelia showed up after she opened the door. I find it funny how she runs her face into Ophelia’s breasts. Thankfully, Opelia brought the fixed pendant and fixed the teleportation circle as well. Still, it’s nice that Ophelia paid a visit and saw the friends Sarasa made as they were sleeping in the store. I understand why Maria didn’t tag along, but it’s nice seeing her have more screen time. From this, it looks like Sarasa feels more motivated to make an even better shop than before.
It’s pretty cool to learn more about Sarasa’s training under Mistress Ophelia.
Poor Iris is danger prone it seems.
Miss Maria wears the pants in their relationship. Love to see it. Hope to see more of them being intimate. I NEED more hot adult lesbian intimacy.
It was interesting for sure and at least we now know Sarasa’s potential and why she needs the pendent. But it’s also nice to see how Sarasa had a positive impact on Ophelia’s and Maria’s relationship.
Yep, Iris can’t help herself, but hopefully she will get better.
I don’t know if you’re accepting recommendations, but you should watch Den-noh Coil (if you already haven’t). It have strong yuri undertones and very cute character design, you are going to love it.
We’ll see in the future, thanks.
