Sarasa took the risk of creating those hats, but the bet is paying off. But, of course, from the episode preview, it looks like the episode we are waiting for.
Sure, Sarasa took the risk of her plan of selling hats that can cool a person. Thankfully, it paid off as people bought them, and her business is booming. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about Twitter, as it’s floundering and losing money quick. Still, I find it funny how Sarasa had to scare the customers to get them to leave. Yep, they are using the place as a hangout.
While Kate, Iris, Lorea and Sarasa had tea, we discover Iris’s desire to gather marasen clams. After all, she wants to find a way to pay off their debt quickly. Of course, Sarasa rained on their parade since only female clams are useful for alchemy, not male ones. She doesn’t find it productive, but Lorea convinces her since she can make something good from it. Yep, it’s cute to see Sarasa’s mouthwatering after Lorea showed her a recipe that uses marasen clams.
As expected, Kate, Iris, and Sarasa defeated all the monsters to reach their destination. There are some funny moments with Iris thinking she sees a pretty flower in a flower field. The thing is, it was actually a bug that pinched her nose. It seems that Iris can’t help herself and Sarasa has to stop her.
With that, the girls finally arrive at the lake, which is the real feature of the episode. You know what this means, right? Swimsuit episode? Before the girls changed into that, they had lunch that Lorea had made. Then, a cute critter came by, and Sarasa treated it.
Aside from that, we see everyone in their swimsuits as Kate and Iris go and gather some marasen clams. As expected, they look great, as with other swimsuits and beach episodes. Also, it’s nice to see Sarasa teach Lorea how to swim. From this, we see a flashback of Lorea figuring out to bake cookies with the magic oven. Sure, she had several failures, but she never gave up until she pulled it off.
As expected, this aspect of Lorea that Sarasa likes about her as Lorea managed to swim a little. Sarasa gave Lorea a head pat, which is probably the cutest thing. That is especially the case when she hugs and says she counts on her as Sarasa blushes. I admit that this is the cutest thing.
With it getting late, Kate and Iris came out with the catch until a monster called a ligarex. Because of its mouth, it looks more like a lamprey, a very scary-looking sea creature. Of course, the thing gives off electricity as Kate and Iris fight it after it eats their catch. Sarasa has to save the day and manages to defeat it with ice and wind magic. However, she used more magic than expected since her pendant came off, but she was able to get it.
Either way, it worked out in the end, as the wind magic brought the clams to shore. That made the effort of getting them to pay off as Sarasa could gather enough female ones and parts of the ligarex for use with alchemy. In exchange, they got a lovely meal from the male clams and the ligarex. We also get to hear Lorea sing while Iris plays the flute. Also, the cute animal that stayed with Sarasa finally reunited with its family. So overall, at least the girls’ outing paid off in the end.
Sarasa and Lorea are a precious couple. So very precious. Hope we’re surprised with a kiss as highly unlikely as that sounds. Kate and Iris made dreams come true and had their moments too. Best episode so far.
Yes, not too surprising given that Lorea is precious, but it’s nice to see moments with them together. Kate and Iris is nice too, but it’s good to have two swimsuit episodes in one week.
