While Hitori is recovering from her cold, Ryou and Nijika are trying to find a new guitarist and singer. The funny thing, Hitori found the runaway guitarist by chance.
After Hitori’s intention attempts to catch a cold caught up to her after a day of work, she finally recovered. Hitori feels gloomy as she tells her little sister how much she doesn’t like going to school while preparing for school. She soon realizes that she is part of a band. It’s funny how she forgot about that.
With that, she thought she had finally gotten over her introversion. She tried to talk to her classmates, who were talking about a band. However, she couldn’t bring herself to talk with her classmates as she hid under the stairways during lunch. Yep, it seems that it can’t be easy for her to overcome her social anxieties after joining a band and getting a part-time job. It’s like she took one step forward and two steps back. However, I feel confident she can overcome it eventually. Still, imagining herself not being able to face her classmates, becoming a famous guitarist, and going on TV telling her experiences is funny.
Eventually, after hearing about two classmates talking about Ikuyo’s singing, she thought about what Nijika wanted. However, she is unsure if she can invite her personally, although she finds her pretty. Ikuyo is the complete opposite of what Hitori is.
Of course, Ikuyo noticed Hitori as she snuck up behind her while Hitori took out her guitar and played it. That is after Hitori tried to invite Ikuyo, and she messed up what she wanted to say. So she hid in that spot, and eventually, Ikuyo noticed her being amazed by Hitori’s guitar playing. I find it funny how Hitori becomes blinded by Ikuyo’s extroverted personality.
Hitori tried to invite Ikuyo, but she turned it down. It’s because she tried to join a band because of being attracted to someone in the band despite not being able to play guitar. Makes you wonder, is she the guitarist that quit on her? Also, who is this person she is attracted to? I find it funny how Hitori says that Nijika and Ryou are party animals as she asks them to pretend. After all, she offered to teach her how to play the guitar.
While Hikuyo tries to bring Ikuyo to the place she works, Ikuyo makes it evident the band she ditched. Before she could explain herself to Hitori, Nijika saw Hitori as she brought energy drinks along with Ryou. Yep, they found the runaway guitarist.
Also, we find out the person she is attracted to. Yes, it’s actually Ryou as she begs for forgiveness. As for why Ikuyo is attracted to her. Well, primarily because Ryou looks like a boy but is a girl. Ikuyo is the guitarist who ditched the Kessoku band after realizing she couldn’t play guitar. Yep, she joined since her crush on Ryou blinds her. I’m rooting for Ikuyo and Ryou, although Nijika might have the upper hand since she is Ryou’s childhood friend.
She worked at the live house, and the manager insisted on her wearing a maid outfit. It’s a good choice since she looks cute in it. However, I find it funny how Hitori did the same giving-up thing from the first episode, where she ends the series. Thankfully, Nijika snaps her out as Hitori tries to teach her how to make drinks. However, Hitori becomes captivated by Ikuyo’s cute looks as she scolds herself for overfilling the cup. Thankfully, Ikuyo treated Hitori’s hand.
At the end of the job shift, Ikuyo says farewell as she feels she can’t rejoin the band. Thankfully, Hitori convinced her that she would teach her how to play guitar. Unfortunately, that is after accidentally ripping down the curtains and falling down. At least the band is back together, as Hitori wants praise after Nijika says that Hitori is the MVP for bringing Ikuyo back.
As for the reason why Ikuyo couldn’t play guitar, she brought a Bass instead. That is after Ryou said it was a bass. I find it funny how Ikuyo faints as she bought the wrong thing. Thankfully, Ryou bought it from her, although it’s funny that she plans to eat garden weeds as she used up all her money.
Hitori slowly growing stronger. Love to see it. Her somber melodies are great too.
Kita’s reason for joining the band is excellent. Hope to see many delightful scenes between her and Ryo.
It’s nice that Hitori is making progress, and as always, the early end credit joke never gets old.
Still, Ikuyo doesn’t disappoint, but hopefully there is more to her crush with her and Ryou. Hopefully it develops into something.
I was super confused on why Ikuyo was instructed to wear a maid outfit. I looked around google and your blog is the best source I could find. I assume its for a joke but I am struggling to understand it.
