After Sarasa opened her shop, a bunch of gatherers brought an injured girl to a shop. Can she treat her and save her life?
After Sarasa, with Lorea’s help, managed to get the shop ready, they already had an emergency. A bunch of gathers came in with a teenage girl named Iris with her right arm detached. Yes, it seems rather gruesome to see how injured the girl was. It’s not too surprising since a Hellflame attacked
Besides that, the male gatherers really have the nerve to complain about Sarasa charging them. The blonde hair elf, Kate, wants to save her partner’s life. They are probably life partners like Lorea and Sarasa.
After the effort Sarasa put into treating Iris, she became exhausted. So Sarasa takes a break as Kate watches over Iris, and she eventually wakes up. But, of course, they finally realized that the treatment was expensive the next day. I found their reaction when Sarasa told them the price of the various treatments to save Iris’s life hilarious. However, this is not surprising if you compare the cost of health care in the United States.
Either way, Sarasa shared her desire to rescue Iris, even if they didn’t pay her immediately. She is willing to have them pay over time, as in for them to get into debt. After all, her shop needs to make money to continue existing. Still, I think Iris and Kate will work for Sarasa, which is a big plus. Not only that, but she will also have more assistants than Olpehlia has. That means she will have an easier time getting rare materials from defeating monsters.
Of course, payment can come later as Sarasa decides to go Hellframe hunting with Iris and Kate. Of course, Sarasa took one down without any issue as she gathered the materials from the Hellflame. She is starting to give me vibes of Yuna. However, she realizes something ominous about their eyeballs. The shortage of frame stones causes them to run while and attack villages. In short, she told the mayor about this and devised a plan to take them down. Not only that, it will allow her to get some supplies that her shop needs.
As expected, the plan worked as Sarasa took down most Hellflames, including the boss. Yes, she is overpowered, but it shows that she can get to that point with all that studying. Sadly, two Hellflames managed to get into her shop where Lorea was as she blew the whistle. Thankfully, Sarasa got to her and defeated those two Hellflames before they could lay a finger on Lorea.
After all, she will do anything to protect the person that means a lot to her. At least Lorea is happy that Sarasa is safe as Sarasa collapses from exhaustion. At least the village is now safe from the Hellflames, although Sarasa is deeper in the red than before. Can she turn things around after gathering all the supplies from the Hellflames? Either way, I feel we won’t see the last of Iris and Kate. They will make good additions to Sarasa’s party. We’ll see next time.
Interesting to see how far they went with the gore. It’s not “grindhouse” but it is quite graphic.
Kate X Iris are another welcome pretty much couple.
Sarasa being really strong wasn’t impressive but her gay rage to protect her soulmate definitely was. In her defense there’s a good explanation for her becoming so strong.
Seeing the gore was the very surprising part, probably to show that Sarasa is up to the challenge, perhaps. Still, it’s nice to see that Kate and Iris is a nice pairing. Also, not too surprising to see Sarasa protect Lorea no matter what as they are more than just best friends, although she is really strong.
