After visiting Fuso, Luminous Witches head to their last destination in the land of the free, America Liberon. Yep, they are going to the Big Apple while getting to see Jo’s family for the first time.
At last, Liberon is their tour’s final stop, or is it? More on that later, as it’s a surprise. Still, I find it amusing how Grace presents them the VIP treatment. Yes, the girls are going into New York as they enter the city in style in a stretch limbo. Also, the hotel that they are staying in is fancy.
I find it cute how Milasha wants to share her excitement over the hotel when she notices Aira and Ellie are missing. However, seeing her become upset was hilarious. Still, it seems that Ellie is enjoying herself in New York and is amazed by the culture there. Either way, it seems that Ellie still has the upper hand.
Sure, Aira seems upset over Ellie being amazed by Liberon’s culture despite being a native of Gallia. It’s funny how Ellie decides to stop Aira’s complaining by throwing popcorn into her mouth. But, of course, she hopes to show Aira the Gallia that she knows someday. Maybe that day might come sooner than we think, although it might not be the same.
Aside from that, it’s nice to see a glimpse of the girls spending their time in New York. That is after Grace shows where they will perform at Fort Jay at Governors Island. I find it funny how Milasha feels the need to conceal her identity while Inori doesn’t mind. That is when she becomes amazed by the pastries and even rice balls donuts.
Also, Ginny tries to find Moffy’s friends, but she is unsuccessful, as expected. Still, I find it cute how she tries to get Moffy to make friends with other animals.
Of course, Jo becomes amazed by the blue fabric. Still, she doesn’t seem confident in using such a pretty fabric like this. Not only that, Grace had a meeting with one of the commanders of the Liberon’s military. Yep, he has a pin of a kiwi bird. He is a big fan of Mana. This confirms that Mana is the best girl.
Later, the girls visited Jo’s family. As expected, Jo’s family is huge. Either way, her little and older brothers seem amazed by how much Jo has accomplished so far. It’s because they are seeing a different side of her. Believe it or not, the person who gives Inori a doughnut is Jo’s father, and his wife works as a teacher.
Sure, Jo initially seems insecure about introducing her teammates to her family. But, at least, she doesn’t regret it now. This inspires her to share her performance with everyone in the city. Yep, it’s obvious where this is going.
As for the blue fabric that Jo picked out, it seems that she is not confident about working with it. Thankfully, Grace knows a garment factory to make it happen. The ladies there are happy to make idol outfits with Jo’s and Silvie’s help. Although, as expected, they fit perfectly, they turned out well in the end. That is Libeon’s exceptionalism on full display.
With that, there is the performance. We finally get to see Luminous Witches not only perform a new song with their new outfits but put on a nice air show. Not just around the performance area but New York as a whole.
Sure, Jo seems worried about how Grace would react to going over the top. After all, she never went beyond, given she acted like an older sister to her little brothers. Silvie reassures her everything is okay. Still, it’s a nice moment to see Jo wishing that she had an older sister like Silvie. Silvie thinks the same, with Jo being her little sister. It shows that they are meant for each other.
Surprisingly, Grace never reacted negatively to the girls putting up a large display. It seems that the news about Gallia’s liberation seems more important. I guess Aira mentions Gallia foreshadowing this. Either way, the tour is not over yet, as Gallia is their next stop.
Not much to say about this episode. It was nice meeting Jo’s big family and know she meant what she said about making money to provide for them.
Looking forward to hopefully getting a strong Aira X Ellie episode next time.
Kind of the straight forward episode, although yes, it’s nice to see Jo’s huge family with some nice moments with Jo and Silvie.
Yes, next episode should be interesting, and of course more Milasha getting jealous.
