As the DA have four of their Lycoris assassinated, they are now on high alert. So, of course, Takina decides to stay at Chisato’s apartment for a while to protect her. It’s obvious how she reacts.
If it’s already apparent, the weapons dealer guy brutally assassinated a Lycoris last time. Given the disturbing losses, it’s not too surprising to see the DA take notice. Takina wonders if this has to do with that Radiata hack and why they found targets to take down. Either way, Takina decides to protect Chisato. That is after hearing what her doctor said about Chisato missing her doctor appointments.
Is it me, or it’s yet another excuse for Takina to spend her free time with Chisato? She is ecstatic as Takina arrives in her apartment. Yes, Takina gets to see what kind of movies Chisato likes to watch and how untidy she keeps the place.
Still, it’s interesting that Chisato has a fake apartment upstairs as the real one is downstairs. She apparently has three safe houses, including the one she lives in. I find it funny how Chisato complains about Takina assigning chores to her. Takina decides to do rock, paper, and scissors to choose the chore schedule. Yep, she made a huge mistake as she lost every time, and Chisato left all the chores to her as Takina left in horror. Probably this is an excuse for Chisato to get Takina closer to her.
As Robota struggles, which I expected, it’s funny to see him squirm. Yes, he enlisted a conspiracy theorist hacker to hack Radiata. It detected it quickly as police showed up at his door. He looks like pathetic script kiddies that unleash a bunch of hacking tools without knowing what it does.
On the other hand, Kurumi makes her own redemption arc as Mika asks her to get the information from the DA. The ones that the commander refuses to give to them. Mizuki seems surprised that Kurumi is hacking the DA undetected.
Kurumi panicked when she discovered that the DA used four Lycoris as decoys that the arms dealer targeted. She also finds out that Chisato was in the footage, meaning she is in grave danger. The interesting thing is that the four Lycoris are the ones that were in the first episode. Either way, Robota has footage of Chisato taking out the hitmen at her apartment the previous night. It seems that the weapon dealer spared Robota at the last moment from this.
As expected, Chisato was delivering something until the weapon dealer’s car hit Chisato. Then, he tried doing the same thing as he did with the last four Lycoris. Of course, Chisato didn’t appear to suffer any injuries as she took out his hitmen and made an escape. However, she eventually got cornered, and we found out her weakness. The dealer splashes blood on Chisato’s face, making it difficult for her to fight back or dodge attacks.
Thankfully, Takina, Mika, and Mizuki got to her and rescued Chisato. Unfortunately, one of the dealer’s accomplices sent an RPG hurling at the SUV the dealer was nearby. It’s all thanks to Kurumi hacking into Robota’s done, which hits the RPG guy that fired the rocket at the wrong target. Sadly, he somehow survived and made an escape
While Chisato suffered a few injuries, it’s apparent that she is not invincible. I guess she will become more motivated to keep Takina on her side. Also, Kurumi comes clean about the hacking attempt that caused Takina to get fired. Thankfully she forgives her as she is now content with her new life.
Now, she wants Kurumi to help her capture that weapons dealer guy, which his name is Majima. Still, I wonder why he wants to take out Chisato and why Yoshi is working with that guy. We’ll probably find out eventually.
As for a rematch of rock, paper, and scissors, Takina manages to beat Chisato. So, it seems that Takina won’t stay with Chisato anymore. But, of course, thanks to the tips Mika and Mizuki gave her. Then again, Chisato might need to find a new place, considering what happened to her.
Chisato with twintails is excellent.
Takina’s defrosting continues and she becomes cuter week after week.
My favorite thing about Kurumi is she probably loves enka music. Glad Takina forgave her after her involvement in Episode 1 was revealed.
Chisato has both a Joker and Lex Luthor to deal with now.
Agreed, Chisato looks best with twintails. Even so, it’s always good to see Takina defrost further, which makes me wonder how she will fare in the end. But it’s good on Kurumi finally redeeming herself.
It seems that Chisato has some people interested in her, hopefully she can shore up her weaknesses with Takina around.
