Now that Aira finally resolved her issues, the girls seem more motivated to perform a song together. The question is, can they pull off a good performance?
I find it funny how the girls became so motivated to sing a song after others joined in after Aira. I think the girls were caught up in the heart of the moment that they didn’t realize the work they needed to put in. That means creating the music composition, lyrics, costumes, and choreography as a group. It’s starting to feel like Love Live in a way.
It looks like Ellie and Aira are having trouble splitting up the tasks. The girls’ motivation basically went out of the door. I find it funny how Mana wants to do everything, which is not surprising given her go-getter personality. Jonna, Inori and Silvie wish to do the outfits for sure.
Of course, Aira ends up assigning the song to Inori and Milasha. Not too surprising for the latter as Ellie reads out her writing, which feels like something that came out of a shoujo manga. As expected, Milasha becomes embarrassed.
As for the outfits, Ellie and Aira held a button sewing contest, which Inori isn’t suited for. She seems too nervous when using the sewing needle. Aira left the dance to Mana and Malia, who was sleeping in the corner. Still, I think this fits more Mana than everything else.
Things are going rough for the girls. Inori is having trouble coming up with the music composition. Thankfully, Ginny comes in. She can read the music score without a problem, probably thanks to Moffy. Not only that, but she also gives some inspiration to Milasha. Yep, Ginny suggests writing lyrics about how Milasha feels about Aira. The funny thing is that she doesn’t realize that Aira is in a close relationship with Ellie.
Either way, it’s nice to see how everything comes together, such as the instrumental recordings, costumes, and painting of the strikers. Silvie eventually reveals the idol outfits, which everyone seems to like how it turned out.
As for the big day, it rained. The girls feel down that their debut will get ruined. Thankfully it cleared up. The performance started with the usual Aira and Ellie duo before the others performed a traditional song.
Eventually, Grace introduces the League of Nations Air Force, 72nd United Fighter Wing, Logistical Support Squadron, Aviation Magic Band, which is a mouthful. This is while the girls in the band are dressed in idol outfits. Yes, it feels more like an idol anime with the 3DCG, except with some aviation air show. Also, it’s impressive how the girls transitioned seamlessly from dancing on stage, putting on the strikers, and going to the skies.
Eventually, Ginny notices the signs that the children made. Yes, the name they came up with for the group, Luminous Witches, was hinted at in the last episode. That is less of a mouthful compared to the official name. Either way, the performance went smoothly thanks to Moffy playing the instrumentals. That is after Grace failed to realize that audio equipment and water don’t mix.
Thankfully, Felicia saw the girls’ performance and is willing to approve Grace’s proposal. Sure, the performance was rough, but at least her dream of Witches helping people through music is coming true. But, of course, this is only the beginning, making me wonder how the girls will fare.
Very nice learning a bit more about the girls. Their debut concert wasn’t flawless but still quite nice. Excited for the start of the World Tour.
Lady Aira X Ellie scenes are always much appreciated. So sexy.
Agreed, but it’s not too surprising to see their first performance, but hopefully they will improve. But yes, it’s always nice to see more Aira and Ellie.
