Now that Kotone and her friends are nearing their monthly goal, they hope this deal will go through. However, when they checked the property out, they spent time relaxing instead. Also, it feels like they are being prepared to become food.
Despite Kotone’s worry that Fa might be the dragon, she carries on with her life. However, her fears might be overblown. Either way, she is wearing the necklace Casa gave her last time.
The girls are on a roll lately. Finally, they are close to the goal, primarily thanks to Fa and Kotone. Yep, Fa hopes the deal she has will allow them to reach their goal. I find it funny how Kotone is figuring out what to do for their celebration after reaching the goal. Kotone is getting ahead of herself, which can come to bite her in the butt in the end.
As expected, the girls did what the sign did. The girls relaxed in the hot springs and have a fun time. I find it funny how Kotone takes out a float and sits in it. Of course, Rufuria notices the good luck charm Kotone is wearing. As expected, Kotone hid that she was worried about Fa being the dragon attacking a nearby forest. Instead, she shared trivial worries like weight issues and the color of her underwear.
Also, Rufuria thought it would be cool to live on a property with a hot spring. You guessed how Rakira answered when Rufuria said she would bring her along. Yep, she blushed red. Before realizing the hot spring smells like fish, Fa notices the floating cooked fish while Rakira starts eating one.
Of course, Rufuria gets creeped out. It gets even creepy when they find out their clothing is missing but replaced with provided underwear. Also, the sign telling them to put on cream and power themselves with catnip made the whole thing look suspicious. So is the inn pulling a Hansel and Gretel and planning to use Kotone and her friends as food. Not to mention, Rufuria, Fa, and Rakira notice that Kotone is acting really strangely, like she is a cat.
In the end, when Kotone goes behind the curtain, a bunch of cats aims for her. But instead, it seems that they are massaging her. Yep, they got us there, and the manager, a big cat, asks how the service is. The owner is having issues with his business with a drop-off in customers. So he thought that turning the inn into a rental property would turn things around.
As expected, Kotone and her friends thought the service was subpar. After all, the service focuses too much on cat and cat people’s wants and not everyone else. After suggesting some changes, the hot spring inn turned around nicely. However, this costed Kotone’s deal that will allow them to meet their goal. At least they received a free pass in return. Thankfully, they have a few days to reach the goal.
In the second half, the girls decide to attend the Millennium Star Festival that happens each fall. This festival allows the person to make a wish to the god. The person writes the wish on a small slip of paper. I find it funny to see the girls’ wishes. Kotone wishes to be able to eat cake without gaining weight. Fa asks for unlimited snacks, and Rufuria doesn’t want a year free of colds. As for Rakira, she wants a new frying pan. Of course, Kotone gets a bit greedy and writes another wish on the back before releasing it.
When Fa becomes hungry, she buys a snack. That is when she found a cute but lost girl named Mimo. She apparently became separated from her parents. Sadly, the only one that can cheer her up is Fa. They only found her parents after making a wish. Yep, her mother is the goddess and Kotone, and her friends found out after going to the cliff. Her mother noticed after Mimo made the wish.
In return, it’s nice to see Kotone and her friends receiving the things they wished for. Sadly, besides not gaining weight from eating cake, Kotone’s additional wishes didn’t come true. Instead, Kotone gets a bit greedy and wants to be with Fa, Rufuria, and Rakira forever and wants a house to live in together. I guess she should have written it on the front if it’s that important. Then again, it depends on what side the goddess reads.
As for the dragon saga, Selenia, a witch, directs a red dragon to wake up and wreak havoc. This can explain why Fa is sleeping in strange places in her underwear only. Perhaps, Fa is fighting against the red dragon subconsciously. We won’t know for sure, along with Selenia’s intentions to bring out the red dragon. It won’t be long until we find out.
RakiRufi deliver as always.
Ganbare Kotone. You’ll get that all important final deal eventually.
Rufuria’s jaw dropping after learning the gods were real was very funny.
At this point, Rakira and Rufuria may as well get married at this point given how close they are now.
I guess Kotone can’t win them all the time, but hopefully she will get there. Also, Rufuria shouldn’t jump the gun thinking gods don’t exist. Hopefully, she still received her wish.
