After Akari got upset at Menou over not spending time with some sight-seeing. Menou did that before the ceremony. If you have played Final Fantasy X, it’s obvious what will happen next.
As for Akari’s “date” or sightseeing tour around Garm, it’s what I expected, they went around the city. They even had some ice cream together. After a whole day of sightseeing, Akari really wants to take a bath with Menou. Yep, it’s obvious that she wants that special time with Menou, especially since it’s her last day. She turns it down as she thinks Akari is being too intimate with her, although Akari thinks it’s fate.
Before the ceremony, they went to a cloth stand. Menou decides to make something to give to Momo. Yep, Akari thinks it’s for her, but for Momo. Yep, she got upset, until Menou borrowed her hairband and put something on it.
Of course, Momo shared what she found, which led her to the sewers. As expected, there is rumors that there are some shady things that are going on near the former palace. Maybe, the Noblesse has something to do with it. She eventually finds herself in a hidden passageway and it seems very strange.
The material used for some ritual when she finds Princess Ashuna down there. Yep, Momo doesn’t seem to like her presence. It seems that she is investigating the same thing. Ashuna finds out why Momo hold herself back during their duel trying to protect those ribbons. Believe it or not, Menou gave Momo those ribbons as they will make Momo look cute. This makes me wonder if Momo was the girl that was crying after their first executioner training. Most likely.
They eventually find themselves in a big opening. There is no way Noblesse can build a chamber that complex. It’s obvious that someone is in cahoots with the Noblesse. Therefore, I mentioned Final Fantasy X as you guessed it, the church, or in this case the Faust is evil! This is right before the ritual, but it was so close.
Momo managed to get to Menou warning her about the archbishop Orwell. Yep, she started to act strange as she realizes that Menou found out her secret plan. She intended to separate Momo and Menou so her plan can succeed. What is her plan exactly?
Of course, Orwell intended to use Menou as mage craft material. You might be wondering, why the Faust had the Noblesse summon people? It’s obvious that they did it to get the Pure Concept that allows Orwell to carry out her plan and solve her aging problem. She abducted and sacrificed innocent women for their blood to prolong her life and to summon a knight to finish Menou. As expected, she grown tired of helping people and receive nothing in return. Underneath her kind facade, she became very resentful and wants Akari’s Pure Concept to regain her youth.
Of course, what happened so far adds up. They summon someone that has whitening powers and a bunch of other errors needed to make the plan possible to carry out. The whitening is so they can gather material to erase a person’s memories and extract their Pure Concept. As for the terrorists, they are there to stop Ashuna who found out some detail of their plan and trying to stop their plan. As for why they had prestress eliminate the undesired Other Worlders. Well, not only to stop the worlds destruction, but to hide the evidence. What else?
Either way, Menou is in a tough situation. She lost her scriptures since Orwell burnt them. With Orwell summoning an automa, Menou doesn’t stand a chance. Not only that, Ashuna and Momo are busy fighting dragons and Akari is at risk of dying or having her mind bleached. I have a feeling that they will find a way out of this. Perhaps some time traveling magic and some maneuvers to put a stop to Orwell’s plan perhaps? Either way, we’ll find out how this ends soon.
