Slow Loop – Episode 11 – Relaxed Girls’ Only Fishing Camping

March 18, 2022 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Koharu playing those gacha games.

At last, Hiyori and Koharu goes on an all-girls fishing and camping trip. Of course, we learn a bit about that moment with Hiyori and Koi.

It’s obvious that Hiyori is very close with Koi during their childhood. It’s cute to see them look at clouds and guess the shape in her flashback. That is while Hiyori gets car sick in the back seat. I find it interesting how Koharu manages to get through the car ride by playing mobile games. Yep, she has a lot of guts to endure a long car ride in the back seat.

The whole crew is finally here.

Either way, they eventually got to their destination. Of course, Kaede, Aiko, Futaba, Ichika, and Koi’s mother was already there. Believe it or not, Koharu is the one that moves the cart filled with camping and fishing supplies. She seems very motivated indeed.

When Koharu is motivated, she will do it.

Eventually, Hyori with Koharu, Koi, Futaba, and Aiko do their own thing, namely fishing while the adults set up the camp. I find it funny how Ichika breaks out the alcohol when the children are not around. This is not surprising at the very least. I can imagine how things will go from here.

Before Koharu went fishing, Koi teaches Koharu to prepare the line and her bait. I find it funny how Koharu mentions Hiyori impersonating a fish when she wet the line before tying the fly. Yep, I guess Koharu really liked Hiyori’s impersonation of a fish.

Aiko shares her worries to Koi about Futaba probably getting away from her.

Either way, as Koi and Aiko watch the girls fishing at the lake, Aiko mentions how she feels uneasy about Futaba getting close with other people. It becomes obvious when she asks Koi how she feels about Hiyori being close with Koharu.

It’s obvious that she feels a sense of worry that Futaba might become distant with her. Koi tells her not to worry as to Futaba, Aiko is a friend she can have fun with. After Aiko sees Futaba managing to catch a fish with all the effort, she finally understands and starts taking pictures of her.

Yep, Futaba finally calls Aiko over.
Sadly, luck wasn’t on Koharu’s side.
Koi finally comforts her after ridiculing her.

Either way, Aiko seems happy after Futaba called her over. Sadly, Koharu had a hard time catching something, or rather only caught small ones. I find it funny how Koi points fun at Koharu, although she apologizes shortly after.

Either way, for dinner, Aiko and Futaba decides to make ukha, which Koharu looked up the recipe for. Of course, given current circumstances, I guess it’s best not to mention where it’s from. Either way, the girls seem to enjoy the soup as they finish the rest of dinner. Also, it’s nice that Hiyori’s and Koi’s mothers are getting along. Not too surprising since they know each other.

Koi wakes up early in the morning. Apparently, Kaede dying the brined fish they will smoke later. Koi decides to make coffee for Hiyori. Apparently, she doesn’t like black coffee.

Koi recalls that moment when she congratulated Hiyori over her mother remarrying.

Eventually, Koi had a flashback when she ran into Hiyori with her little brothers as she brings them back to the nursery school. This is when Koi congratulates Hiyori that her mother is remarrying. I find it funny how one of Koi’s younger brothers said that he needs to go to the bathroom.

Eventually, Koi meets Hiyori who was fishing with the coffee. She mentions that moment when Koi congratulated Hiyori about her mother remarrying. Of course, Koi apologizes for that, although Hiyori seems alright by it. After all, if Hiyori’s mother didn’t remarry, Hiyori would still be fishing alone.

Believe it or not, Hiyori is the one that told her she should remarry since she felt that she needs someone that can relate to her. While Koi blames herself since she believes that she is a thoughtless child trying to act mature, Hiyori doesn’t think this is true.

Nice moment with Hiyori and Koi.

Believe it or not, Hiyori is alright with Koi congratulating her, although she blames herself over it. Hiyori is happy since Koi can make this happen. I find it funny how Koi mentions that Hiyori is becoming like Koharu, although she thinks Hiyori is like that during their childhood.

Yep, you bet that Koharu mentioned that goldfish moment.

Of course, Koharu wondered what Koi and Hiyori is taking about and Koi said it’s a secret. As expected, Koharu gets upset. Even during breakfast, Koi asks them to reveal their oldest memory. Koharu mentions the goldfish eggs being eaten from several episodes ago. Hiyori says it’s Koi attached a fly to Hiyori’s line. As for Koi, she said it’s a secret and Koharu gets upset. I think Koi is doing this on purpose now. Either way, it’s a fun camping trip.

In an alternate universe Koi and Hiyori became stepsisters, if you know what I mean.

Like I said early on in the coverage of this show Koi is the “Harumin”. Hiyori’s lucky to have two wonderful potential spouses.

Aiko has nothing to worry about. Futaba will be by her side forever.

Yes, It’s nice that Hiyori is getting a harem of her own, but a small one at that. But yes, Aiko shouldn’t worry too much as Futaba isn’t going to leave her.
