Now that the Crow doll knows M4’s location, it’s a race for Griffin to find her before Sangvis high end finds her. Of course, Helian tasks Gentiane with the job.
M4 is still on the run until she hid in the meeting place. She informs Persica about arriving in her destination. Persica informs M4 that Griffin started a rescue mission. Before she received the details, Persica broke up and gives the code name, “Sugar Cube.” Of course, this is part of the plan, more on that later.
Helian with other people at Griffin finally digests what Crow said before self-destructing. Apparently, it knows the location of M4. Now, they need to find a way to save her in a different way. Of course, the T-dolls that are on guard notices a strange signal but didn’t think much of it.
Of course, Gentiane still feels bothered about Scarecrow nearly harming her team of T-dolls. This is despite her knowing that T-dolls won’t lose their memories. Of course, Helian gives her an important mission to help rescue M14 from the 16Lab. Yes, the lab that Persica runs. While she talked to her about M14’s ware bouts, she reveals that she tasks the AR team to retrieve data that her friend left. Before she talked to her, she mentions forgetting her “Sugar Cube.” Yep, this code word will become important later.
With that, Gentiane compares the location of the strange signal that her T-dolls detected to Persica’s. Of course, it’s identical, but she wonders why M4 didn’t come out. She eventually requests Kalina to retrieve more information on M4. Of course, she only brought back training videos, which gives Gentiane a good idea how M4 is like along the rest of the team. Yes, they even saw a video of the AR team chilling out and being like schoolgirls. This shows that they are still have emotions despite being serious at achieving their mission and becoming the elite team.
While Kalina is away, MP5 notices Gentiane is down. Of course, she reassures her not to worry too much about her and her teammates. After all, they are T-dolls and have backups. Either way, Gentiane is happy that MP5 reassured her with a nice head pat.
As for the operation itself, the High-End model Executioner arrives at the spot where M4 is. Of course, her plan to terrify the Griffin T-dolls failed as they said M4 is not there. The Executioner eventually finds M4 but fell into her trap. Of course, M4 accidentally revealed where she is, and the Executioner tried to curb stomp her.
Before the Executioner tried to get the information from her, the Griffin T-dolls mention the code word, “Sugar Cube.” Yep, Griffin outsmarted the Executioner again as it’s M4’s plan all along to fight her and eventually trap her. Of course, she doesn’t have the data. After all, the Executioner has a one-track mind and Sangvis’s AI has limitations.
As expected, M4 left the data disc behind, and the Griffin T-dolls found it, which they handed it over to Gentiane. I guess High End dolls aren’t as smart as the appear to be. This is despite the Executioner taunting M4 that her friends are still in danger. Either way, I am curious what Gentiane will talk about to M4 or how she will rescue the rest of the AR team. We’ll see soon enough.
A calculated gamble by M4A1 that paid off due to the wits of MP5. It also helped that the Executioners was arrogant and totally underestimated how normal T-dolls could work to bring her down.
Best episode of the lot as it had a degree of suspense as you didn’t quite know how M4A1 would dig herself out of this hole. Questions remain on how the enemy has managed to obtain this secret information… Is it a breach or is there perhaps a spy hidden in their ranks? Pretty sure those questions will spring up soon.
I did like how these girls, despite being robots, seem to exhibit some very human (girly) traits and the scene with the girl getting scared with a spider was amusing. M4A1 in particular seems to have the same degree of empathy for her comrades as the Gentiane so it would be good for them to meet.
Of course, they couldn’t do it without Gentiane. Also having the data that M4 left behind also helped. Still, I think it’s more towards the Sangvis high end being able to hack or detect where M4 might be than bad actors in Griffin, if there is any.
Forgot to mention, thanks for the tip.
