Now that Druj and Jahy confronts the strange being of light, how does the battle turn out?
Before the battle happened, Druj shared her back story. Apparently, her special power is the ability to control hearts of other people. When others find out about her powers, they become afraid of her and mentions her power that she scorns her powers. She loathed this power so much that she drew her mana crystal away until Jahy met her. She apparently needs her powers. I can see why Druj look up to Jahy.
After listening to her side story, Druj is excited to fight alongside with Jahy. I can see why Jahy decides to protect her ideal version of herself to Druj. Before they face off the being of light, it escaped. Jahy gets annoyed, but sadly she can’t see her presence anymore. I guess she has to wait. Either way, they drank the rest of the night.
The next day, the Owner decides to have Jahy to do the food prep. Apparently, her cooking is good that she decides to open her own restaurant. After all, why work for someone when she can open her own place and keep all the profits to herself. She eventually discussed the idea to Druj who is willing to help her.
Jahy decides to make a few dishes and asks Ryou to become her taster. It’s obvious that Ryou really wants Jahy not to quit. With the talk of quitting and asking Ryou to work at her place, she turns it down and walks out. When she about to eat the meal she cooked, she remember the times the Owner helped her out.
Yep, she is having second thoughts as she walks down the street. The Owner finds Jahy and she seems worried that she is leaving her. Either way, Jahy is surprised that the Owner is willing to help her out regardless of what happens. Of course, the being of light appears asking her for powers. Of course, the Owner accepts it and it didn’t go well as Jahy is unable to save her. Yep, she became upset as the Owner becomes a Magical Girl. Yep, she lost her to the dark, well light side. Of course, Kyoko is shocked by what happened as the Owner is now Jahy’s enemy now.
Of course, when the being of light asks the Owner to look for mana crystals, she rejected. Yep, she goes all about on stealing things from other people is wrong and it’s best to talk things out. Eventually, the being of light becomes upset and reveals her true from. She looks like the Demon Lord, but with cross-shaped pupils, pink hair and clothing. You might be wondering, are they sisters?
Eventually, the Demon Lord and the Being of Light start fighting each other. They eventually become giant as the city is in danger. Jahy tried to stop them initially, but their attacks was relentless that it slammed her to the pub’s door, knocking down the sign. This is when she starts having flashbacks at the pub and asks Kyoko for aid to stop them.
Of course, Jahy attempted to stop them again. When Jahy intervened, the Demon Lord and Being of Light realized what they did as Jahy faints from the attack, all battered up. Thankfully, Kyoko saved her, but is it too late? Is Jahy a goner?
Of course, the Being of Light becomes upset over hurting someone. This is when we find out why Jahy is in the situation she is In with the Demon Realm destroyed. The Being of Light, being the younger sister just wanted attention from her big sister, the Demon Lord.
When the Demon Lord moved away, the Being of Light wanted to surprise her. Instead, she enlisted Kyoko who became too powerful and destroyed the Demon Realm. She enlisted Kyoko to collect them all, but instead giving them to someone else. For the other magical girls, they are worthless.
It’s obvious that the Being of Light messes things up more when she wants to fix them. In such, Jahy and the others gets caught in the middle of this as Jahy finally realizes and gets annoyed. Still, seeing Jahy sacrifice herself shows how much she loosened up ever since she came to the human world. At least Jahy knows the true reason that there is no need to blame herself anymore.
To think that Su was pulling off all kinds of mischief on everyone throughout this series! After all the grief Jahy had with the magical girl you would think she would want to pummel her! But Su is cute and Jahy is a softie plus her boss has a way of calming Jahy down so I suppose that was never gonna happen…
With the two sisters now making up it would seem all sense of conflict has been resolved in this series. The only potential friction would be Saurva but we all know she is no real threat to the great Jahy! Hmm speaking of Saurva it would have been great if she showed up in this final conflict. She could have added a little something in that scene!
On the whole this was a good episode and we got lots of good moments from the great, comical fight scene to that little bit of Druj backstory. I suppose the season finale will be a nice send-off with all the girls finally getting along after settling all their differences behind them.
Pretty neat reveal. Light Lord vs Dark Lord made some people very happy for sure.
Poor Jahy realized her suffering was all over something so silly. Her reaction was understandable, especially after fulfilling her destiny as protector of her harem.
Great stuff. Sad it’ll end next episode.
