After Manaka and her friends had a training camp in Okinawa to work on their skills, how did the end results turn out?
With the training camp over, it seems that the girls improved quite a bit. Yoko eventually notices the results with the practice game. However, it seems Naomi seems a bit shy when it comes to her defense. It seems that Riko seems to have the upper hand in that regard. More on that later. Of course, Yoko praises Kaoruko in private for being able to find her voice.
As for Snow White, it’s obvious that they fell to B rank. After all, it’s not too surprising since they lost their ace along with the team member infighting. Of course, their coach is not giving up yet. After all, she poached another member from Canada. Not too surprising since they apparently have the best ice hockey players. The new player’s name is Maya Walker and she has blonde hair just because. One of Snow White’s member ask about Yu to her coach. Of course, the coach was responsible for getting Yu back to playing ice hockey thanks to Yoko. It’s obvious that she was worried, but of course, she needs to focus on winning.
Aside from that, Yoko is receiving another recording from the same guys. I find it funny how she wears her makeup again and wear her formal clothing. Besides having them record the practice, she also mentions that. It’s obvious what she means by that. Yes, the victory dances of course and she plans to do one when her team wins the first match in the tournament.
Of course, the main focus is Naomi and Riko in their own private practice session. Apparently, Riko notices that Naomi’s defense is not as strong, but too shy. It’s not too surprising since Naomi is bad at athletics, although she is good at video games. Yes, Naomi ends up beating Riko in video games no matter how hard she tries. Naomi probably relates with Riko since she is afraid of getting into an accident. It’s not too surprising since she tried figure skating, she can’t do spin jumps. It’s because she ends up bumping into people. I can relate since I am scared of getting hit by a ball or injuring myself. As expected, I am terrible at athletics in general.
Riko eventually suggests Naomi to find a way around it so she won’t collide with someone. She managed to find a way after several tries using her speed. It worked and led to a nice moment with them together. Of course, Kaoruko, Manaka, and Yu were watching them secretly.
As for the first match, it seems that it’s not going so well. Riko ends up doing something that Naomi fears the most. She bumped into someone attempting to perform Naomi’s defense strategy. She ends up spraining an ankle. Will she be able to recover from this injury? Also, can the team make a comeback? We’ll see soon enough.
More Riko X Naomi goodness but at a cost. Hope Riko won’t be out of action for too long.
Really hope for the best for them, but I agree that the Riko and Naomi moment was nice.
