Now that Jahy collected enough mana crystals to gain enough strength, she decides to fight the magical girl. However, it appears that she might not even want to fight.
As expected, Jahy came prepared with all the mana crystals to fight the magical girl. While this seems very risky as Jingu can simply take them all, but it’s not the case. Jahy is on the offensive while Jingu defended herself. Jahy manages to knock Jingu’s scepter out of her hands, leaving her defenseless.
Eventually, Jingu comes clean and reveals the reason she wants to become a magical girl. She only wanted friends and thought that saving people by collecting mana crystals will do this. She thinks that taking misfortune is nothing. Of course, Jahy experienced worse not because Jingu destroyed the demon realm, but her pride.
With that, Jahy believes that Jingu shouldn’t take the burden of misfortune and plans to free her from it by befriending her. No, not just merely friends, but as lovers. As in, making her part of Jahy’s ever growing harem. It looks like what Jahy said a few episodes back making Jingu her minion to Druj became true. Of course, if Druj finds out, she won’t be happy. In fact, she will become jealous.
The next day, Jingu begs her to go to her place and Jahy doesn’t seem to want to. That is until she mentioned food of course. This makes her happy, until Jingu mentions she has a friend. Jahy questions it before having to walk back what she said. After all, Jahy doesn’t want Jingu to begin antagonizing again.
Eventually, Jingu takes Jahy to her mansion, which looks very run down. Not too surprising because of the mana crystals. Of course, there is a room that Jingu won’t go in because she thinks there is a ghost.
When Jahy opened the door, she saw the Demon Lord eating cup noodles. I must admit that she is adorable and around the same size as Jahy. Yep, Jahy is happy that the Demon Lord is revived. It’s thanks to the mass pile of mana crystals Jingu collected. Jingu throws a party, but of course, the Demon Lord eats most, if not all the food. She of course leaves a small piece of octopus for Jahy, which makes her happy.
You might be wondering, why Jingu became a magical girl? It’s because she tried to save a kitten. Shortly afterwards, she fell into the river and the being of light offered to save her. She gave her magical girl powers and direct her to destroy the demon realm and collect the mana crystals. Believe it or not, this is a bad deal, especially dealing with all that misfortune.
When Jahy wanted to take the Demon Lord home, she wouldn’t go with her. She prefers being with Jingu since she gives her food. As expected, this upsets Jahy. Hopefully someday, she will earn enough money to satisfy the Demon Lord’s eating habits. At least it’s good that the Demon Lord is revived and Jingu is no longer a threat.
Jahy bested her greatest raivaru, got a new harem girl and reunited with her “hard to get” true love. It was a good week for our heroine. Next she must solve the mystery of who sent Kyoko to destroy the crystal.
It’s good that Jahy pretty much one up the magical girl. Should be interesting how her relationship with Kyoko will develop, but most likely differ from Momo of course given how masochistic she is. I also wonder who is the person that granted Kyoko magical girl powers too.
