It seems that Jahy’s lucky streak continues as the Owner and Ryou works at a beachside restaurant. Also, Druj seems down for some reason.
Now that Jahy managed to find a large mana crystal quite easily, she is becoming a bit confident. With that is the beach episode as Jahy wants to relax and find some mana crystals. Sadly, Jahy wore her usual outfit and don’t have a swimsuit, but then again, she may not even need one. Of course, she is wearing her large mana crystal she found last time. I thought she learnt her lesson not to show it off in case of that magical girl might steal it. Thankfully, she is not there, so there’s nothing to worry about.
Of course, the Owner and Ryou took her along so she can help her uncle’s Yakisoba shop. While Jahy resisted, the temptation of food and money was too much. Of course, with misfortunes happening including a jellyfish invasion, a rainstorm, and the uncle hurting is back too much for Jahy to handle. Not in a bad way, but in a good way as she believes there are a lot of mana crystals around the area.
The funny thing is that with Jahy’s motivation to get those crystals, she essentially helped save a lot of people without knowing it. Even after a whole day of saving people, she is back to her child form. While the Owner wants her to call it a day, Jahy was standing in an area of mana crystals that lit up. Yep, she hit a huge jackpot as she gathered two big buckets of mana crystal shards. Of course, it came at the expense of her pay. I guess her old ways are wearing off in unexpected ways.
As for the title of the episode suggests, Druj doesn’t seem happy. No, it’s not because of Jahy’s lie of the magical girl being her minion, but something else. While things are going well for her company, she is missing something. Yes, the pleasure from Jahy demeaning her.
When she saw Jahy, she seems happy to see her. Of course, knowing what happened last time, Jahy decides to take it easy and praise her. As expected, Druj gets upset as she fears that Jahy is forgetting her old self and becoming more humanlike. Not too surprising given the last episode with Kokoro. It’s not until Jahy said that Druj was gross is when she gets excited. This causes Druj to say she prefers Jahy treating her as a slave.
I guess Jahy started treating her different since Druj is doing so well, but she now remembers. Of course, she declares that she won’t lose her way. Either way, Druj is now happy for some reason. Thankfully, Jahy just managed to save her reputation in her eyes.
With that, it’s obvious that Jahy is about to fight the magical girl as she has all the mana crystals. I find it funny how the Owner brings her the rice balls. Yep, Jahy ate them at the spot. Still, carrying all those mana crystals might be a bad idea since the magical girl can steal them. Then again, judging from the title, it makes me wonder if the magical girl even wants to fight Jahy. We’ll see.
Always dread that life will unfairly screw Jahy over which is why I’m elated whenever she gets a victory. At least she earned it, be it unintentionally.
Druj is a treasure. Rooting for either her or Kokoro to become Jahy’s #1 wife.
Yes, it seems the past trauma of seeing Jahy screwed over is real, but I think it’s good to see her snatch another victory. But it’s good that she didn’t ruin her reputation in front of Druj.
