Now that Azusa befriended two twin girls from slime spirits, Laika predicted who will Azusa befriend next. Oddly enough, her predictions are right as an elf girl knocks on Azusa’s door and eventually, a demon.
As expected, Asuza’s laid back life is getting a bit busier. The funny thing is that Shalsha is reading about elves. While Azusa said she never met an elf before, someone knock at a door. Of course, Azusa sees an elf lady that is scared for her life. Azusa wonders if it’s an orc, but it’s a demon, Beelzebub also known as Lord of the Flies. I find it funny how Azusa wants nothing to do with it. I guess she doesn’t want to deal with such a powerful demon.
The elf lady won’t leave as she continues to beg for help, but Azusa doesn’t want to. She eventually gives in and allows her to stay. The elf lady’s name is Halkara and she is really busty and well-endowed. She came from a small nation of elves in Hrant and works as an apothecary. Just like Azusa, she works with plants to create an alcoholic drink called Nutri-Spirit. It’s made from mushrooms and plants.
You might be wondering, what is Nutri-Spirit? It’s just a popular energy drink and it’s selling like hotcakes just like Nvidia Geforce RTX graphics cards, but they sell out from high demand. Of course, Halkara believes that Beelzebub is after her since she believes that Nutri-Spirit caused her to get a fever and nearly went to hell. As we find out later, this may not be case.
After hearing her story, Azusa still doesn’t want to help her since she doesn’t want to fight against Beelzebub. This is not too surprising since it goes against her lifestyle. She eventually gives in and allows her to stay after Falfa begged her to. As expected, Halkara hugged her. Azusa gave her a robe, but it doesn’t fit her thanks to her being so well-endowed. Also, Azusa created a barrier around the house to keep her protected from the Beelzebub. As expected, Halkara became emotional when she had her first real home-made meal.
The next day, Azusa and Halkara went to collect herbs. As expected, Halkara collected a lot of mushrooms. They eventually cooked some and of course, Halkara accidentally eats a poisonous one.
As expected, she forgot to boil it and she was about to give it to Azusa, Halkara started laughing until she becomes very lewd and attracted to Azusa. Yep, she is careless. This is not too surprising since she is ditzy. The funny thing is that when Halkara tried to get closer to Azusa, she uses magic on her. I guess one can consider this as a befriending. Thankfully, Halkara made it up by cooking a meal for them. Either way, I think Laika might have some competition.
The next day, Azusa took Halkara around town. As expected, Azusa showed how she kills slimes. The funny thing is that Halkara struggled to defeat one. When they got to the guild, they saw a wanted poster for Halkara from Beelzebub that matches the description. With that fear, she had Laika take Shalsha and Falfa to a safe place.
The funny thing is that Beelzebub was already in the house, disguised as a fly. Of course, Halkara sees empty bottles of Nutri-Spirit and all the food gone. It becomes apparent that the fly might be the culprit. The funny thing is Beelzebub transform from her fly form into her human form. As expected, she observed Halkara secretly to see if it’s her.
Before Buzzlebub made a move on Halkara, Azusa decides to protect her. To protect her, she fights against her. The funny thing is that when Buzzlebub tries to position herself, she hits a barrier that Azusa created. Yep, she eventually passes out after Azusa apologizes to her. While it’s unintentional, I guess I can count that as a brutal befriending.
In the end, we find out why Buzzlebub went after Halkara. She just wanted to obtain more of Nutri-Spirit. She also admits that she got a fever from overworking herself. Not to mention, demons love her product. As expected, it’s a big misunderstanding and this doesn’t amuse Azusa at all.
Either way, Halkara decides to move her business to be with Azusa. Either way, at least Buzzlebub gave her a summoning spell. Still, I wonder why Laika needs to return home. Even so, I find it funny how Azusa sees this as her family falling apart. I guess Laika has some family related things she needs to sort out.
Beelzebub lived up to my hype and Halkana’s a bumbling hottie. Excellent additions to Azusa’s family and harem.
Hopefully the reason Laika needs to go back home won’t keep her away for long.
Agreed, and it’s funny how Beelzebub disguised herself as a fly to spy on Halkara. Still, I think they are both are good additions.
Still, not too surprising with Laika. I highly doubt she will leave that long.
