The fight continues as Hiyo tries to rescue Miyako from Uta and Nina. Will Ruka finally transform?
As expected, Hiyo is at a huge disadvantage. Yes, Hiyo had to face off against Uta and Nina. As you would expect, it’s a one-sided battle. Of course, Uta and Nina used a combination attack against Nina. She couldn’t hold off the dark attack as it aims for Ruka. Thankfully, Hiyo shield her. Of course, Hiyo struggles as the handle of her sword becomes discolored from the attack. Still, she refuses to allow Nina and Uta to take Miyako’s fragment.
You might be wondering, why Nina and Uta is after Miyako’s fragment? While it looks like a crystalized water lily. Her mother favoring her son darkened Miyako’s fragment with despair. They want to take and collect all the fragments, so they don’t have to suffer anymore. Still, I wonder why they need to take them instead of purifying them.
Either way, Hiyo disagrees with their ideals. Despite how painful these feels are, Hiyo doesn’t think they should take it. After all, despite these painful values, she believes there are still value to keep them. After all, not all things go well all the time. Of course, people can learn from these experiences. After all, this is not Uta’s and Nina’s decision to make.
Of course, we find out the thing that holds Ruka from becoming a Reflector. She noticed that the girl who is by the flowers has feeling of despair. However, she doesn’t go to help her since she didn’t know her, and she couldn’t help her. Sadly, the girl took her life. After all this, Ruka regretted not intervening. I can see why Ruka had trouble possibly interacting with others because of this.
She eventually tells Hiyo how she feels about this. Also, reiterates her desire to save Miyako after feeling her suffering. She was able to transform into a Reflector and fend off against Nina. It gave them enough time for Miyako’s fragment to start purifying.
Meanwhile, Miyako was about to give up her fragment, until she grabs something. It’s her love for shiny stuff and pretty gems. Sure, she wanted to shine so her mother will notice her, but sadly, her mother eventually threw it away. Even if her parents are terrible, I don’t think she should give up the things she loves. Maybe there are other people that appreciate what she loves, even if her parents won’t understand. Thankfully, she came into terms with her feelings.
As expected, Uta and Nina are upset that they didn’t win as they escaped. Either way, Hiyo and Ruka finishes their work as they brought Miyako to Hiyo’s apartment. Of course, Momo encountered the leader of the other group. Apparently, she hindered Momo from reaching Hiyo and Ruka. Obviously, Momo wants to know what the name of the leader is.
Of course, while fighting her, Momo experiences a strange flashback of what happened. This disturbs Momo as she finds out that it’s the girl who abandoned the ring and disappeared. I guess Momo is realizing that this might be Hiyo’s older sister, Mio. Still, I wonder what led her to go to the dark side? I guess we’ll find out eventually.
Thankfully, it’s good that Hiyo and Ruka took Miyako to a safe place. Yes, they even repaired her phone case with a better design. Of course, Miyako complained about the gem choice that Ruka came up with. Still, I feel that she appreciate what Ruka did.
Of course, with Ruka and Hiyo returning to the dorms, they thought they would receive a scolding. Instead, it’s part of the plan to throw a welcome party for Ruka. Not to mention, it’s funny to see the other girls commenting how close Ruka is with Hiyo. While Ruka denies it, it’s obvious that she can’t. Still, I wonder why Momo has no recollection of what happened or why Mio suddenly disappeared. We’ll find out soon enough.
Glad Ruka overcame her fear and helped Hiori in battle. They’ve grown closer. Very nice.
The mystery of Mio continues.
I think it’s pretty clear Ruka already had trouble interacting with others before that happened. That’s why it happened in the first place.
