At last, Himeno decides to join the Pottery Club as a normal member. However, it seems that Touko gets upset at Mika for some reason.
It’s been a while and it seems that Himeno decided to become a full-fledged member. Still, it’s nice to see the girls share the aspects of pottery. Yes, this includes kneading the clay. Also, Himeno shows the various techniques to make bowls, cups and plates. That is nice.
Still, it’s good that Himeno is getting better at this. Not to mention, she learns that firing a piece of course can cause the final product to shrink. While she wants to make a teacup, of course that will be a challenge given this issue.
As expected, Mika is apparently not making anything. She is reading a book for inspiration. As expected, Touka becomes bothered by her not being productive. Meanwhile, Naoko assembled a model kit. At least she is being productive, although it has nothing to do with pottery.
The next day, Himeno continues her work on the cup. She compliments Touko’s skills, although she says it’s nothing special. Of course, Naoko runs into the club house. Apparently, she doesn’t want to become a cat girl. Of course, it’s funny to see Mika with cat ears, paws, and a tail trying to get Naoko to wear the cat accessories.
As expected, given that Touka is losing her concentration from Mika distracting her finally flips out. I guess she reached the limit of Mika fooling around that she accidentally hurts her feelings. As expected, Mika calls Touka a jerk and left the club house. I guess she should have told her to stop in a kinder way. However, I can understand how Touko feels since she is trying to concentrate while Mika wants to play around.
The next day, Touka feels bad as Mika haven’t returned. Himeno made Naoko and Touko some tea and used the Santa-themed cup that Mika apparently made. Touko admits that she likes her creative designs. After all, Touko sticks to tradition. Still, it’s obvious that Touko wished that she had some creative aspects of Mika have.
Eventually, Mika came back and showed her the completed sketch. While Touko is impressed, she eventually apologizes. Hopefully Touko will show some patience with Mika instead of causing a big misunderstanding next time. Either way, all well that ends well with Himeno and her friends tasting her father’s curry that he is experimenting with. Sadly, none of his recipes are original, but I guess the thought of the girls liking them are good.
Nice to learn a little more about Mika and Touko’s relationship along with getting small glimpses of Touko’s sexiness. It’s not easy being friends with a genki. It requires a lot of patience but is definitely worth it usually.
Agreed given how close they are, especially in that scene with Mika and Touko riding the train back. Yes, I guess Touko needs more patience, but I can understand why she reacted the way she did while trying to concentrate on her work.
