After Nadeshiko, Rin, Aoi, Aki, and Ena saw the sunrise at Mt. Daruma, they decide to hit some more spots and paying a visit to a certain shop before heading home.
It’s funny to see Nadeshiko become fired up after seeing the sunrise. Despite being the last day of their Izu trip, there is a lot of stuff to do before heading home. Still, it’s obvious that the girls look forward for capybaras. Not too surprising since Akari out of everyone shares her excitement for them. Then again, Nadeshiko probably shows this the most.
As expected, when Rin walked down the stairs with Ena, Aki, and Aoi, she gives a rare thanks and admitting that she had fun. Is she warming up to the idea of group camping? Judging by how much fun Rin had, this doesn’t surprise me at all. Normally, Rin enjoys camping alone. I guess I can see why Aki and Aoi becomes surprised by her response.
As expected, Rin decides to ride in the same van with everyone else. Yep, she sat in the middle next to Nadeshiko and Ena. Still, I find it funny how Rin feels that it’s cramped inside. It’s not too surprising since they also have the luggage back there as well.
As promised, Minami went by the liquor shop that the father and daughter runs. After all, they needed to pay a visit after they help saved them from that incident at the lake. Aki eventually introduces Akari, Rin, and Nadeshiko as they give them gifts.
Of course, Nadeshiko decides to wonder off and calls Rin. Yep, it’s that owner’s dog, Choko that looks like Ena’s dog. Nadeshiko really wants to pet it, but it ran to Aki. Yep, Nadeshiko feels left out. Also, it appears that Ena is suffering Chikuwa withdrawal. Hopefully she will get over it soon once she returns home.
With that, Minami takes the girls to Mt. Omuro. Of course, the daughter of the father who runs the liquor shop tags along to walk Choko. Besides stopping by to get ice cream, they also ride the lifts. I find Nadeshiko’s and Rin’s expression when a camera took a picture of them is halarious. This reminds me of those souvenir pictures that you can buy at the end of rides at theme parks. Still, it’s funny how Nadeshiko and Rin buys one. I guess it will be a nice keepsake to remember the fun memories they had on their trip.
As expected, I found it funny how Aki wants to race to the ridge. As expected, she wanted to do it as a joke, and everyone decides to do it. Still, I wonder why she does this when she sucks at running. Still, going up there is worth it since they saw a nice view of the town and Mt. Fuji
Of course, they eventually went to the zoo where they had capybaras. I find it funny how the girls see animals outside of the zoo. I find it funny how when Minami mentions it, the receptionist panics. Either way, the girls had fun looking at animals and cactuses. When Akari sees the capybaras, they were as they dreamed. It seems that they are enjoying the hots springs. Of course, Akari gets to pet them too and even bought a plushie.
With that, the father’s daughter parts ways with Minami. Minami drops Rin off to get her moped so she can ride it back home. After all, she needs to take a different path since mopeds can’t go on highways.
I find it cute how Nadeshiko becomes worried as Rin isn’t answering her messages. Yep, she got stuck in traffic. I must admit that it’s nice to see Nadeshiko return the favor and try to wait for Rin. Somehow, she manages to find her.
Still, I find it funny how this reminds me the time Rin checked on Nadeshiko. Also, it’s nice to see them talk about the places they visited as they look at the townscape. Sure, Nadeshiko seems sad the trip is over, it seems they had a lot of fun. Either way, they look forward to camp again in the future.
Final Impressions
As expected, there is not too much to say about the second season of Yuru Camp. It’s pretty much more of the same that made the first season enjoyable to watch.
Even so, I must admit that there are nice moments with Rin and Nadeshiko. Yes, that moment when Rin becomes worried about Nadeshiko and checks on her secretly. Not to mention, we finally see Nadeshiko’s older sister, Sakura relaxing in the hot spring. Yes, also with Rin too. Aside from that, it’s not over yet as Yuru Camp is getting a movie. I wonder what they will cover in that.
More adorable camping goodness this season and of course more Rin X Nadeshiko development. Very good. Now we wait for the movie.
Definitely. Rin and Nadeshiko is too precious, but I still curious what the movie will cover. We’ll find out eventually.
