Now that Sorawo finally saved Toriko from falling into a trap, you thought that she would learn her lesson. Sadly, she asks for more, but of course this time, it’s unintentional.
From last time, it seems that Sorawo needs to make it up for Kozakura given that they kind of abandoned her last time. Still, it’s funny how Toriko ate a lot in comparison to Sorawo. I guess one can see this as Sorawo making it up for Toriko for what happened last time. Still, Toriko still believes that it will work out as long there is two of us after ordering food.
After the food came, Toriko takes out the creepy hat and puts it on her head. She asks Sorawo how she looks. Of course, Toriko will look good in anything. Once they finished eating and the waiter gave them the bill, Sorawo wants to split it. However, he starts to act weird saying that “there is a sublance, the abardmont will be coming.” Sorawo becomes freaked out by the waiter spitting out nonsense. Of course, Toriko did not catch what she heard since she is drunk.
Of course, Sorawo walked a drunk Toriko to the station. However, they ended up in a grassy field. Yep, before they know it, they find themselves in the Urasekai. The thing is, they have no weapons to defend themselves with. Yep, Murphy’s Law is finally settling in. The good thing is that Toriko becomes sober after realizing they are in the Urasekai.
Not only that, a huge creature that looks like a robot with things dangling from it chases after them. Sorawo had to guide Toriko to somewhere safe while avoiding the traps. This makes me wonder, how they got there? Is it because of Toriko’s creepy hat that she put on? Then again, some things just don’t make sense about this world.
After making it up the hill and on the railroad, a spirit chases them. Yes, it seems like they are in a precarious situation since Sorawo becomes worn out. Thankfully, Toriko grabbed her hands. Sorawo ran while following her lead. While this happened, Sorawo remembers what she said. Yes, Toriko saying that things will work out as long there’s the two of us.
Eventually, Toriko saw something and she led her outside the tracks while they lay on the ground ducking. Yep, gun shots came at the spirit. Shortly after, military surrounded them, and they spoke English. After fending off a giant with two horns, the lieutenant asked if they are okay. Of course, the solders seem very suspicious of Sorawo and Toriko. Thankfully, the lieutenant tells them to stand down.
As expected, as Sorawo and Toriko finds out, that the lieutenant of a United States Marine Corps unit who stations in Okinawa find themselves in the Urasekai. Yes, they find themselves in that world while training. They are stuck there for a month now and have no idea to get out. While they faced several casualties as seen with the bodies dangling from that robotic creature, their robotic pack mule apparently landed in the glitch. As expected, it went haywire.
When they got to the train station, they make a shocking discovery. Apparently, the station is named kisaragi, which means the second month of the year or February. Not only that, there is power going to the vending machine and streetlights.
Eventually, the lieutenant eventually led them to their base. Yep, Toriko and Sorawo has no idea how to get out of the Urasekai, but perhaps they will find some clues. Yes, so that they can get out while rescuing the military from the Urasekai. Does the answer lie with the mysterious hat Toriko has? We’ll find out soon enough. Still, it’s funny to see Kozakura wondering where Sorawo and Toriko went.
The mysteries of Otherside keep on piling up as Sorawo’s feelings for Toriko grow stronger each episode.
Yes, this episode really shows how terrifying the Urasekai is, especially at night. Still, it’s not too surprising to see some further signs of Sorawo falling for Toriko, especially since it’s now for survival.
