Fruit Tart’s first CD debut is almost here and Hoho planned a live performance for them. Still, Ino and her friends are kind of doubting her.
At last, the big day have finally come. Yes, the girls stand by the boxes of 3000 copies of their new CDs. Yes, Hoho really had 3000 copies made. This makes it obvious that she is going all in and if it fails, you don’t want to know.
I liked how the girls looked at the box while storm clouds gathered around the house. It shows how ominous it appeared given that Hoho puts everything on the line to make the first single release a success. Sure, she couldn’t arrange a live performance spot at Tokyo or Yokohama but instead Saitama, namely Omiya.
As expected, she decided to pick a less populated place since it’s cheaper. At least it’s not a rural area. Still, what annoys Ino and her friends is her 13000-yen meal she had after revealing the receipts. Why she gets to eat a fancy meal while Ino and her friends are stuck with weeks old curry?
Of course, Fruit Tart needs to learn how to promote themselves. Of course, Ino imagines herself being risqué, which we can’t show since it’s not safe for work. She asks Hoho but of course she has no idea. That is why she enlists Tone to help out, which knows a lot about how to interact with fans and do those handshakes. I find it funny how Hemo asks for all the handshake tickets from Hayu when she did all the practicing. Either way, it seems that they forgot to practice their B-side song they just recorded.
Aside from that, I find it funny how Hoho has the nerves to force Ino and her friends to take the train. It’s not too surprising since she needs the van to transport the equipment, CDs and Tone. It’s obvious that Hoho did this to promote the group. I also find it funny how the girls, especially Roko got their hopes up looking at the line, which is for a different performance and becomes disappointed. Thankfully, it seems that fans actually came to the live performance along with Tone’s mother and her neighbors.
Of course, you wondered why Hoho spent 1 million yen. Yes, she had merchandise made. Besides the usual merch like T-shirts, mugs, and light pens, she was also selling dakimakuras and secret photos. Of course, how Hoho secretly made them annoys Roko, and embarrasses Hayu. Of course, Hemmo wants three of Ino’s dakimakura, and Ino wants each copy. Obviously, Hoho is going to get a scolding, especially by how she handled the stage outfits.
The performance was a huge success. Sure, Hemo was a bit nervous, but she overcomes it thanks to Ino telling her what she said when they met at the restroom. After saying they are in it together, Ino injects courage into Hemo. Still, it’s obvious she did well because she loves Ino.
Of course, the Cat’s Production president look at their performance as well. This makes me wonder, what is she scheming. Is she planning to take Fruit Tart away from Rat Productions? I guess we must wait and see what her evil plan is. Also, I find it funny how Riri’s profile states that one of her favorite things is Hoho. She is not hiding the fact she has a huge crush on her.
Hayu and Hemo relishing every special moment with Ino but obviously refuse to share. There can only be one and stuff.
Miss Riri’s commercial profile was very interesting, besides her love for Miss Hoho. We already knew that.
Fruit Tart’s yuri power is so strong the crowd is mesmerized by it.
Still interested in what the president’s master plan is.
Yes, the moments with Hemo and Hayu obsessing over Ino is nice as always. But still, Riri’s profile is never that surprising. Even so, I still think we will find out the plan eventually.
