As Valentine’s Day nears, Adachi wonders what kind of chocolates to give as she figures out her strategy.
I must admit that this episode had a lot of cute moments. Yes, there are the various segments with Shaman Taoka. As expected, she is eccentric as she gives the daily horoscope each day to Adachi on TV. Still, it’s funny to see her injure herself and of course, her wig falling off completely. I also find it funny how the stage staff drags her away.
Even so, it’s obvious that Adachi is following her advice somehow. Sure, she becomes concerned about the compatibility, but she won’t let that ruin everything. After all, she is determined to get closer to her beloved. She eventually asks Shimamura about what kind of chocolate she likes.
Also, I like how Adachi changes her hair style so that Shimamura notices. Of course, Shimamura touches Adachi’s ponytail, which causes her to become flustered. She also tries out a bunch of milk chocolates and even tried to make her own and send pictures of her attempts. It’s obvious that she is trying her best, but it it’s a stretch.
About Tarumi, Shimamura ignored her calls until she picked up the phone one night. Apparently, Tarumi called to share that she is glad to see her again. The thing is, Shimamura wanted to buy chocolates, but Tarumi derailed her plans. Yes, Adachi thought about the same thing. Sadly, Murphy’s law is in full play, leading to a perfect storm. Adachi is stuck at work and Tarumi taking Shimamura’s attention away. Of course, Shimamura decides to meet Tarumi. It’s obvious where things are heading. Tarumi might become Adachi’s rival, although we don’t know how interested she is into Shimamura yet.
Still, there are some nice moments with Adachi and Shimamura. Yes, the day when they feel nostalgic about going back to their old hide out in the gym. Sure, it shows how far their relationship have gone. But is it really a bad idea to go back up there someday? Also, the scene with Shimamura pats Adachi when she comes over to her house was heartwarming.
Also, the scenes with Yashiro are nice as well. Apparently, Yashiro can fly, and she is more than 600 years old despite looking like a child. Lastly, I find it funny how Adachi manages to win a party game while Shimamura is in last place. Yes, this is in despite of her focusing her eyes on her.
Kawaii
Adachi is a legend. I will continue repeating this so long as she keeps on being awesome, which I’m pretty sure she will.
Shimamura possibly having some strong feelings for Adachi as well but she’s way too pensive currently to consider the possibility.
Tarumi will be quite the challenge for Adachi I’m sure.
Vday episode hype!
The Shaman was win. So much win.
Yes definitely, especially given how hard she is trying to get closer to Shimamura. It(s only a matter of time, although Tarumi is an obstacle. Still, Valentines Day date might become a bit interesting with Tarumi in the picture.
