Now that Adachi asked Shimamura on a “date,” I wonder how things pan out.
From last time, Adachi finally ask Shimamura on a date on Christmas Day. I find it funny how Adachi while at work asked her manager if she can take a day off on Christmas. The funny thing is that the manager asks if Adachi got a date. I find this hilarious given that she might have read Adachi’s mind. Still, she doesn’t know what couples normally do on Christmas.
At school, Adachi wonders what she should do on Christmas. She finally decides on buying a present for Shimamura. Yep, she asks to help from Akira as she eats lunch with her and asks her what Shimamura likes.
After Akira saw Shimamura go into a tea shop, Adachi enlists Akira for help. Yes, they went to the tea shop after school and Adachi decides to buy an interesting favor of tea. While they ate dinner together, Adachi notices that Shimamura is with Taeko.
Yep, it seems that Shimamura had the same idea that Adachi have. Still, Adachi feels a bit uneasy seeing that Shimamura is hanging out with another girl. It’s obvious that she has some feelings of jealousy. Before going to bed, Adachi decides to send a text message. As expected, she feels excited after receiving a reply from her.
As for the actual date, I never expected Adachi to wear the China dress. Shimamura eventually asks why Adachi is wearing it. Then again, it’s obvious she wore it. After all, Shimamura said Adachi looks cute in it after seeing her work in the restaurant. Thankfully, Shimamura still finds Adachi looks pretty in that outfit.
Aside from that, Adachi tried to hold Shimamura’s hand, but it led to a misunderstanding as she grabs her thumb instead. It seems that Adachi should have asked her instead of being a bit sneaky. Either way, she is fine with it, so everything is good.
Aside from that, they played air hockey at an arcade. Believe it or not, Adachi is good at this game. They also ate at a burger joint too. Aside from that, they finally exchange gifts and of course, the reactions are great. Also, it’s nice to see Shimamura pat her head after seeing Adachi’s gift.
Still, it’s funny how Shimamura knew that she got help from Akira. Shimamura also got her a present, but it’s a boomerang and goggles. This is when Adachi find out that Shimamura went with Taeko to find a present for her little sister. Either way, it’s nice to see her try it out.
After playing around with the boomerang, Adachi finally does the thing she wants to do. Well, she couldn’t bring herself to confess to Shimamura yet. Instead, she asks her if she can become best friends. Either way, Shimamura is happy that Adachi is ambitious. Still, it’s a nice moment as always. Maybe someday, she will gain the courage to confess her feelings to her.
Adachi has already become a Yuri legend. What a heroine. Shimamura meanwhile is a fascinating creature.

Definitely, Adachi is trying her best to be the best girl for Shimamura. Also, it’s nice to see more Taeko and Akira. Not only that, it’s nice to see more of Yashiro.
