Now that Riri finally managed to assemble 9 members for her legion, she wonders what to name it. However, it seems that there is already a name in mind already.
Yes, Riri is happy that she formed her legion, although filled with eccentric members. Apparently, Yuyu eventually already named it as the Hitotsuyanagi Squad. I guess they saw sign at the room’s door and simply took the name. I guess Riri doesn’t have to think of a name now that Yuyu decided on it. At least they figure that part out.
Aside from that, Riri wonders why she sounds like a leader. After all, she still lacks the ability as a lily. Of course, Yuyu will be there to keep Riri in line. But still, I wonder, why make Riri the leader? More on that later as Yuyu already knows the answer. Even so, it seems that Kaede is jealous again for obvious reasons.
It seems that Riri have a special bullet. Yes, it’s one that the girls can use for the Neuwelt Tactic. This is a special technique that can defeat a Huge instantly that requires building up the Magie using nine different Charms. It’s a difficult technique to master. Yes, Riri and her friends witness Alfheim attempt to do the technique, but it didn’t quite go so well. The huge damaged three of their charms while destroying one in the process.
At last, Yuyu finally knows what Riri’s Rare Skill is. Sure, Riri doesn’t realize it, but her skill is “Charisma,” which Yuyu found out from her roommate. Her rare skill is a support and control skill that manifests exceptional leadership. This can explain why she qa able to bring 9 members together and even win over Yuyu’s heart. Of course, Yuyu uses that opportunity to look down at herself for her “rare skill” that seems more like a curse. More on that later.
With Alfhiem out of commission for now, it’s up to the Hitotsuyanagi Squad to fend off the Huge. Yuyu and Riri decides to face it. When Yuyu saw that her old Charm, it reminded her of the bad memories. She eventually became into her Lunatic Trancer mode while the Huge knocks Riri back. Thankfully, she makes it back where the rest of the members are. Riri had to come in and intervene to bring Yuyu back to her senses.
While Riri brings Yuyu to a safe place so she can heal her, it’s obvious that Yuyu doesn’t want Riri to look at her. She believes that the Lunatic Trancer is not a rare skill but a curse. Yes, it’s starting to sound like Yachiyo believing that they are cursed for some reason.
I can understand that she is still dramatized by her former Charm that she accidentally used to kill Misuzu under the influence of the Lunatic Trancer. Because of this, she doesn’t think she is any better than a Huge. Yes, it goes back to the flashback with her and Misuzu about the things that separates Lilies and the Huge. Yes, the fact that Magie doesn’t control the hearts of Lilies.
Thankfully, Riri doesn’t think this is true. She tries to convince Yuyu is not that kind of person. While Yuyu doesn’t believe that she can protect Riri, Riri promises her that she will protect her in a way. When Yuyu activates her Lunatic Trancer, Riri will stop her no matter what. Somehow, Yuyu calms down. Yep, it’s Riri’s Charisma skill at work yet again that pulls Yuyu heart towards her. It’s obvious who is the leade now in this case.
With that, the rest of the Hitotsuyanagi Squad manages to pull out the Charm that is stuck in the Huge’s body. With that, Yoshimura sticks the special bullet into Fumi’s so they can do the Neuwelt Tactic, which the managed to pull off. I guess it’s thanks to not only all the members of the squad, but also Riri’s leadership again.
Aside from that, it seems that Moyu with Alfhiem is trying to make sense of what happened. Also, I wonder why the Huge’s power grew with the Charm. We’ll find out soon enough.
It’s not easy dating someone who was emotionally scarred but if you love them you will do your best to support them as best as you can. Good for Riri. She got Yuyu to (hopefully) realize her love has nothing to do with her skill.
Yes, Yuyu went though a lot, but it’s good that someone like Riri is around. I think it’s more than Riri’s rare skill that help resolve Yuyu’s issues while supporting her.
